I've played the game, and its pretty fun. It has some interesting game mechanics. However the minis themselves seem to be not of the best quality, my friend got one that had two left hands, and one of the rares came with the wrong character card.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I don't like WoW at ALL, but I thought I might at least take a look at a few to see if the minis might work for table-top D&D stuff, but after seeing them for $15 for three randomized minis I just said flat-out NO.

if your gonna spend $15 on a WoW product just buy a month of game time.

also check goodwill for old board games and such for cheap proxy mini's

Yeah, The cost is jaw dropping.
I had thought that DDM was getting a bit pricey till i saw the WoW boosters...
$29.95 for 3 mini's
for a DDM Huge Set Booster i'd be paying $25.95 and im getting 8 mini's inc big ones

From what I've seen of pictures, they are also of poor quality.

Also, wow, 30 bucks for 3 minis? Cmon Blizzard, you have no excuse for that. They're made in China, they shouldn't cost that much. GW makes minis of plastic that cost LESS for MORE, and they manufacture in the West.

If they were $30 that was overpriced. They're supposed to go for 15... Still kinda pricy but I love collecting stuff and WoW is my favorite hobbie so for me they are well worth it.
