View Full Version : [party] To save a princess

2005-05-09, 08:47 AM
This was for a module I wrote. It is a high level joke....

The characters are all misfits of various sorts. The archmage cat, the rapping bard, the drow who doesn't like spiders, the high elf in love with the drow, the token black guy druid, the fighter who is terrified of spiders.

It was at this time when King Redfern of Hellas hired the Seekers to rescue his daughter, Princess Jennifer. She had been kidnapped by the great red dragon Dru’ager.
Scot convinced the cat Archmage to come along for one last adventure (she was on the point of retiring when you joined).
For the last six months you’ve been gathering information and traveling all over the Kingdom. Finally, the trail led you back to the Cattarack Mountains. And here you are, some six days travel from Redwall, in the heart of the Cattarack Mountains, about to assail a forbidding castle where you believe Dru’ager is keeping the princess.

You have short blond hair that you set into spikes each morning. You have pretty, almond shape brown eyes surrounded by symmetrical features. Your frame lacks strength but makes up for it with the grace of movement. You wear elven chain beneath your clothing. Your clothes consist of baggy pants that ride low on your middle and a woolen shirt with a hood, normal drawn up. You have a rapier strapped to your side and a short bow on your back. On the right, your drum hangs from a strap.

One liner: “Yo Homies, whazzup in da Hood?”

The way your father tells the story, your mother was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. No, scratch that, the most beautiful sight he had ever seen. Apparently, he had gotten wanderlust and went trekking around. One day, he heard this music that just called him down the path. Being a bard himself, he recognized the skill and started to play along. Well, he met this gorgeous human woman and took her back to Elven lands with him. There was supposedly some furor with her family, but you never really pieced it all together.
Of course, in Elven lands, she was completely out of place. But apparently they were happy. You wouldn’t know, she died from complications of birthing you. Of course, she wasn’t exactly young by then.
Anyway, there you were. A half elf. Supposedly, you look a lot like her. And with two bards as your parents, what else where you supposed to become? Pops taught you how to play the lute and the basics of composition. Then you got struck by wanderlust. This was while you were still using your own name of Ysander Galadian.
Your first twenty years of travel, you were the normal kind of bard. Played the lute, wandered from town to town, bearing news and helping out here and there. Then you traveled to the continent of Westrenos. There you met a strange people whose music called to you. You spent five years amoung them, learning their tales and habits. Their music is called Rap and their way of speaking is very different. You renamed yourself 50 Coppers and returned to the Kingdom of Hellas and started to spread your new gospel. Admittedly, it didn’t really catch on.
It was when you traveled to Elven lands that disaster struck. You made friends with the crown prince Berylion Semestra. And he really liked your music. And your way of talking. You didn’t actually intend for him to call the King a Homie and ask “How’s it hanging in the Hoood, mo’fo?” Especially not during a full court session. Of course it just went downhill when you explained what mo’fo meant. Well, kings aren’t known for their sense of humour and he banished your ass. Pops gave you a letter for your human kinfolk and you went to see if they could give you a home, now that Elven lands were forbidden to you.
This was how you come to join your cousin, Scot de Sommerville’s band of adventurers, the Valorous Seekers (he could have picked a better name….oh well!)

Feelings toward the other characters:
Scot de Sommerville: Scot is your human cousin. And man, is he a stick in the mud. You get the feeling he’s only keeping you around because it’s some kind of family duty. What’s he going to do for arcane magic when the Archmage leaves eh? <sigh> Humans….

John Jordan: John ain’t a bad guy. Loves his trees, loves his animals, maybe a little too much <snicker>, but not a bad guy. You call him a bro’, just ‘coz he looks like the bro’s who taught you to Rap.

Berael Tealeaf: The cat. No, not insultingly meant, she really is a cat. And an Archmage. And she gets all uptight if you refer to her tower as being in da Hood, which is always good for a laugh…

Ivellios Holimion (Diamonddew): Now here’s an elf that’s in more trouble than you. He took a Drow for a lover, who woulda thunk it? Good with a bow though, he’s into the whole nature thing too.

Vadania Nailo (Nightbreeze): The Drow. She probably has her fair share of family problems too eh? She’s the only one of the group who seems to like your music. Maybe you should try spreading the gospel to the Underdark?

You are a Drow. You have short white hair that you can tuck under the hood of your black cowl, red eyes and gleaming onyx skin. Dexterous and graceful you are completely at home in the shadows. You wear a long leather coat and underneath the cloak is leather, skin tight clothing.

One liner: “…” You see? Your listen check isn’t even high enough to hear my quote, what makes you think you could possibly hear me?

You were always somewhat of a disappointment to your mother (a priestess of Lolth). It was clear from early on that you had no calling for the priesthood. In fact you can’t stand spiders, a small fact you never let your mother know. Killing them is now one of your chief entertainments.
Be that as it may, you spent your childhood getting adversely compared to your older sister (Valanthe). But you had one skill neither she nor anyone else could ever duplicate. You could get in anywhere, anytime. Especially places you weren’t supposed to be. And that was how you came to leave Lolth’s service. In one of the deep, dark tunnels beneath the city in the Ridgeback Mountains you found a walled up chamber. In the chamber was a small shrine dedicated to Olidammara. Not that you knew that at the time. All you saw was a statue with the strangest face. You tried to pick it up and the bastard came alive! You thought you’d really done it this time, but it turned out to be all right. He was a right good fellow and you had a long chat about this, that and the other thing. Eventually, he made this offer. You serve him and he’d open the shadows for you. And hide the fact that you were no longer Lolth’s. Well and so, what did you have to lose? You took the offer and since then have been in the God of Thieves’ employ. Not only do you get to sneak around wherever you want, but you know something neither your mother nor Valanthe could ever dream of!
Some five years ago a hunting party brought in an elf. A surface elf with gorgeous hair the same colour as yours and most beautiful blue eyes. You did the unthinkable and fell in love.
Your mother kept him prisoner for over a year, trying to get information out of him. That gave you plenty of time to ensure that Ivellios fell in love with you. Then you overheard your mother tell Valanthe that since Ivellios was so uncooperative, maybe they could simply ransom him back to the elves. Well, that didn’t work so well with your plans! So you snuck into his cell and told him that they were going to execute him. Together you escaped. You remembered thankfully, to get his damn Bow. Sometimes you wonder what’s more important to him, the Bow or you?
Anyway, you were pursued of course, but you had the great good luck of stumbling across a band of good guy adventurers called the Valorous Seekers (what kind of name is that anyway?!). Ivellios maintains that he led the two of you straight to them. Yeah, whatever. Anyway, these guys agreed to give you a hand, if you give them a hand. So fair enough, you joined the <cringe> Valorous Seekers.
Disaster almost struck when the idiot halfling Sorcereress leant against a door you had not yet checked for traps. How were you supposed to know she was going to lean against the door? Everyone knows doors are dangerous! Suffice to say she snuffed it as the door came alive and took her head off. Oops. Then the Druid goes re-incarnates her. Can’t wait to find a cleric with resurrection, no, no, he must have Berael back right now. And of course she came back as a talking cat! You wash your hands off the whole situation…
Some time ago you commissioned a special whip from an artisan. You had it made mostly as revenge on the Bow. But Ivellios hasn’t paid much attention to it. On the plus side, the Whip is an excellent weapon and you’re coming to enjoy wielding it enormously. Okay, maybe the Bow isn’t that bad…
About six months ago you were joined by a half elven bard called 50 Coppers. You don’t mind his music (called Rap) as much as the others, in fact, he’s quite entertaining company in a way. What you can’t figure out is how he can be Scot’s cousin. Oh well, every family has a few secrets eh? Hehehe.

Feelings toward the other characters:
Scot de Sommerville: Typical good guy, knight in shining armour. Can’t wait to rescue the damsel in distress. Still, at least he can’t stand spiders either. Though in his case it’s a bit stronger than that. He’s stood on a table to get away from them before today….

John Jordan: The druid who couldn’t wait to get his Berael back. Well, now he isn’t getting any. Unless he’s into animals. You never can tell with Druids can you? Not a bad guy though, he’s never blamed you for the door incident.

Berael Tealeaf: The Archmage herself. Well, to be fair, she seems to have adjusted to her new shape and you don’t get along badly. If she’d only leave the door story alone!

Ivellios Holimion (Diamonddew): The love of your life. How you fell this deeply in love is a question open to debate but the mere thought of leaving him leaves you cold. Luckily the feeling appears to be mutual. With the possible exception of his Bow, you have no rivals.

50 Coppers: He talks a bit strangely and his music is odd, but you quite like it. And you know all about being an outcast too. You get on all right with 50. If only you could find out what Homie really meant…

Equipment: Mithral full plate of Speed:, mithral heavy shield, Frostbrand great sword, lance, heavy war horse + barding, 13456 GP.

You are a knight in shining armour. You have shoulder length brown hair, pretty brown eyes and a build that the bodybuilder from hell would envy. Probably comes from walking around in full plate. Mithral no less. With a big ass great sword strapped to your back. And a silver earring in each ear. And don’t forget that when you’re on your horse, you also have the lance and shield. Your horse’s name is Edelweiss.

One liner: “A Damsel in Distress? Where? We must go at once!”

You grew up in the village of Cornwall, your parents had a farm and all seemed fine. You made friends with John Jordan, whose father owned the inn and Berael Tealeaf. John and his father always had issues because John didn’t want to work in the inn, he wanted to spend time in the forest. But you and your folks got on just fine.
Then on your fourteenth birthday, disaster struck with lighting Speed:. The harvest was poor and taxes had to be paid. You offered to hit the adventuring road to bring in enough money to pay the taxes. Thankfully, Berael and John came with you. Berael to learn more of magic and John because his father had finally kicked him out.
You made enough money to at least stave off the tax collector in the first three months. Then you heard of a creature that made its lair in the Cattarack Mountains. Supposedly, it collected treasure the way cups collect dust. And it was terrifying the villages in the foothills of the Cattaracks.
So off you went to see what you could do about this creature. It was <shudder> a giant spider. You never liked spiders anyway, but this one pounced you! And it bit you! And it rolled you up in a web!!!!!
Thanks be to Heronious, the others managed to kill it and rescue you. Since then, not liking spiders has become terror of spiders. You can’t stand the creepy, hairy, chitinous little bastards!!!!
Moving onwards. At least from that encounter, you made enough money to save the farm. Your mother and father were very happy and your mother made you a gift of a pair of heirloom silver earrings.
You tried to return to the farm life, but there was no going back. Without the bite of danger, your life seemed empty.
So you, Berael and John formed an adventuring group. You picked the name (as the original founder) and you became the Valorous Seekers. Has a certain ring to it, doesn’t it?
It was shortly after this that the Voice started. You haven’t told the others, they might think you crazy, but every now and again this strange voice echoes in your head and says the weirdest things like:
“The way of the warrior is the way of love.” Or
“If your brain was any smaller, you’d be thinking with it.” Or
“An apple a day keeps the doctor away.”
You don’t get it!!
Sometimes months will go by without the Voice saying a word, then suddenly you have a barrage of these strange comments. You just can’t figure it out. And it worries you a bit, since there is a name for people who hear voices.
Your current strategy is to do your best to ignore the Voice.
Anyway, you crossed the length and breadth of the Kingdom of Hellas and it was on the breadth part of the trip where you picked up Ivellios and Vadania. You had made camp near the Ridgeback Mountains, where you had heard rumours of giants molesting good folk. As you were sitting around your campfire, two weary travelers stumbled into your camp. At first you were a bit wary of just accepting them, especially as Vadania was a Drow! And they were being hunted by the Drow. But Ivellios is an elf after your own heart and Vadania is a good companion, once you get to know her. So they became permanent fixtures in the Valorous Seekers.
There was a rather nasty incident in a dungeon once. Vadania hadn’t yet checked the door that Berael leant against. The door handle grew into a lion’s head and took Berael’s head right off! Well, John has always been a bit soft about Berael, so he cast re-incarnate. In your opinion he just did that in the hope that she’d come back in a slightly bigger size. Unfortunately, she came back as a cat! And completely immune to polymorph. So now there is Puss in Boots, the Archmage <try not to laugh so hard>.
For another year or two, you proceeded to make a name for yourself in all of Hellas. Then you got a letter from home. Your cousin, who is a half elf (don’t ask, mother never wanted to talk about that great aunt) had gotten himself into trouble in the elven lands. So, you agreed that you’d let him join the Seekers.
He didn’t tell even you his real name. He insists on being called 50 Coppers and he makes terrible music that he calls Rap. If it wasn’t for family obligation, you’d definitely be kicking him out. But what are you supposed to do eh? He is family after all.

Feelings toward the other characters:
John Jordan: John is probably your oldest friend. You grew up together, got drunk together, adventured together, the list goes on. If you needed someone to watch your back, you’d pick John.

Berael Tealeaf: Next to John, Berael is your closest friend. And her becoming a cat didn’t change that one bit. You’re really glad that she has finally become the Archmage she always wanted to be.

Ivellios Holimion (Diamonddew): The elven ranger and Vadania’s lover. He’s a good elf to have on your side in a fight. A bit on the serious side and sometimes a bit too much on the flashy displays of archery, but everyone has to have a few vices.

Vadania Nailo (Nightbreeze): The Drow. Well, at first you weren’t too taken with her, after all, she is a Drow. But she has grown on you. And she’s very helpful to have around when you encounter traps or you need to get in somewhere.

50 Coppers: Your cousin of sorts. The rapping Bard. You really are not too fond of his music at all. And he can be really obnoxious. But you’re stuck with the little pusboil, unfortunately.

Equipment: Potion of Tongues x5, Potion of Remove Disease x2, Potion of Cure serious wounds x10, Scroll of cure moderate wounds x5, scroll of daylight x1, scroll of wall of thorns x1, Immovable Rod x5, rod of non alignment detection, spell component pouch, spell components, sling, 50 bullets, 3768 GP

You are the token black guy. You have closely curling black hair, brown eyes and a chocolate brown skin. You’re a vigorous man, but on the slender side. You wear mottled green and brown robe and you always go barefoot. Your spell component pouch hangs off your belt on your right side, your sling and bullet pouch on your left.

You have a Goshawk called Roc. He definitely has delusions of grandeur….

One liner: I’m gonna die. Why you ask? Because the black man always dies!

You were born in the village of Cornwall, the son of the Innkeeper. Your mother died in childbirth. Obad-Hai alone knows if it would have been different if she lived, but there it is. She died.
Your father wanted you to work in the inn. You wanted to be outside amoung the trees, feeling nature cavorting around you. As these things do, this led to conflict between you and your father. But for once, luck was on your side (a lucky black man, who’d’ve thought?!). He kicked you out just around the time when your good friend Scot had to get out of the house to save the farm. Scot invited Berael Tealeaf along for arcane magic as well.
So off the three of you went. It all went well, relatively speaking that is. There was the incident with the spider, but Scot is the only one who still has the scars from that. After you’d made enough money to save Scot’s farm, he tried to go back to being a farm boy. Yeah, right. You’re going to grow potatoes after you’ve saved Damsels in Distress. When it become clear that adventuring was all you three were good for now, you formed a permanent group. Scot was your leader and he named you the Valorous Seekers. Oh well, what’s in a name eh? Just your whole self respect.
At any rate, off you went. One night, as you were camped in the foothills of the Ridgeback Mountains, two strangers stumbled across your camp. One was a damn fine black woman, pity about the pointy ears and the other was an elf. Scot being what Scot is, he offered to help them right off.
Unfortunately, the Elf is the Drow’s lover. Else it would have been a real pretty picture.
But life goes on and you continued to adventure with a bit more fire power now. It was one night in deep dark tunnel when disaster struck. Berael lent against a door Vadania hadn’t checked yet and it bit her head off (the door bit B’s head off that is). Well, Scot was all for taking a bit back to the cities for resurrection, but what do city dwellers know anyway? So you re-incarnated her. Hey, there’s nothing wrong with being a cat! What you still can’t figure out though, is why she can’t be polymorphed anymore. And now of course you’re stuck carrying her stuff, because you’re the one that cast the spell. Hah!
About six months ago you picked up yet another team member. Scot’s cousin, the half elf, 50 Coppers. He’s apparently a bard. You wouldn’t call it music, but he belongs to the bardic guild, so….
This was also round the time when Berael was speaking of retiring. But Scot convinced her to come along on one last adventure to rescue Princess Jennifer.
She had been kidnapped by the great red dragon Dru’ager. So for the last six months you’ve been gathering information and traveling all over the Kingdom. Finally, the trail led you back to the Cattarack Mountains. And here you are, some six days travel from Redwall, in the heart of the Cattarack Mountains, about to assail a forbidding castle where you believe Dru’ager is keeping the princess.

Feelings toward the other characters:

Scot de Sommerville: You’ve been friends with Scot for most of your life now. Despite the fact that he’s so white he freckles, you got his back and he’s got yours.

Berael Tealeaf: Well, you kinda prefer her as a cat. She’s nice and warm when she snuggles down on your bedroll. And she never used to do that back in the halfling days!

Ivellios Holimion (Diamonddew): For an elf, not bad. At least he’s also into nature, even if he is a bit more martial than you’d like. But damn if V ever left him, it would be every tree hugger for himself!

Vadania Nailo (Nightbreeze): For a skin that looks that good in black, you can look past the pointy ears. Any day. But she’s only got eyes for Ivellios, mores the pity. Oh well, she’s handy in a tight spot in other ways besides that one….

50 Coppers: Except for the music, you get on all right with old 50. At least you also know what it feels like to want to do something different from what’s expected of you. But the boy really should think about changing his music style. The Homie and the Hood can stay, but the Rap is really shaky…

You have long white hair falling down to the middle of your waist. Light blue eyes set in a lightly tanned face. A lean runner’s build and strong arms built for archery. You wear celestial chain mail beneath your tunic and you have a swirling green cloak.

You have a horse called Qalinesti (animal companion). He is a gorgeous stallion standing 17 hands high with a broad, deep chest, long legs and shining silver coat.

One liner: Of course I can hit that! I can thread a needle at a hundred paces.

When you were born, your father had the limbs of your Bow cut into shape and your mother employed magic, making it a slayer of your enemies. By the time you were thirty, you could draw it fully. If Vadania wasn’t your lover, the Bow would be.
You learnt to appreciate nature from your father. Eventually, wanderlust overtook you and you left the Elven lands and traveled across the Renmar Sea to the continent you find yourself on now. This was some eighty years ago. You had barely landed there when matters started to go wrong.
First a bunch of thieves set on you in the harbour and stole your Equipment, including the Bow. So you had to go after them. Well, you got your Bow back, but it wasn’t exactly healthy in the city of Irongaurd anymore. So you picked up and left. You wondered around in the wilds, seeking out others only when you truly needed to. For about seventy five years you enjoyed life on the wild side. It was during this time that you were joined by Qalinesti, your horse and a gift from Ehlonna. Finally though, you decided to see about maybe getting a letter to your parents, perhaps even returning to elven lands. So you set about on a journey to the Kingdom of Hellas, which was supposedly cosmopolitan and civilized and had trade with Alfheim.
On your way there, traveling over the Ridgeback Mountains, you were captured by a Drow hunting party. Well, it was at this point that you gave yourself up for dead.
However, first they wanted to know where you were from, how you got here and so on and so forth. Obviously, you weren’t very forthcoming, so you were held captive for over a year while they tried to force the information from you. During that time, a young Drow woman, the daughter of the Priestess of Lolth who had captured you, started to apparently make friends with you. At first, you merely thought to cultivate her to enable to escape, but as time went on, you found yourself growing moderately found of her. This was Vadania Nailo. About a year after you had been captured, she sneaked into your cell. In whispers she informed you that her mother had had enough and that you were to be executed. She did not propose to let that happen.
That night both of you fled the Drow city beneath the Ridgeback Mountains. Thankfully Vadania understood about the Bow and she had brought that too.
You fled before an irate party of trackers and might well have been undone if it was not for the first bit of good luck you received on this continent. You stumbled across, excuse me, your fantastic eyesight spotted a campfire and you guided both yourself and V to this campfire.
Thankfully, the group collected here were both friendly and good and they helped you to escape to Hellas where the Drow did not bother to follow, though it has been made clear that neither of you are welcome to return there. And the elves here aren’t too happy about your setup either. Oh well.
You have been with the Valorous Seekers for some time now and almost all has gone well. The only slight hiccup you encountered was when the Sorcereress, Berael, leant against a door that Vadania had not yet checked for traps. Unfortunately, she wasn’t fast enough to get out of the way. And then John, the druid, re-incarnated her….as a talking cat. Mages eh?
Some little while ago, the five of you were joined by Scot’s cousin, 50 Coppers, the bard. The less said on that subject the better. No really.

Scot de Sommerville: Scot is good man. Courageous. Honourable. A good friend. And right handy with sword and lance. He makes a good leader, except if you have to face spiders, then he comes all undone for some reason.

John Jordan: The druid. John is an interesting fellow. He seems absolutely convinced that he’s going to die. “Because the black man always dies.” Still, he’s a fellow lover of nature and you have no quarrel with him. And he was responsible for the joke of the centaury after all, the Archmage cat. You might even left your elven countenance slip to a smile for that one…

Berael Tealeaf: The Archmage and Puss in Boots! She can be very cute, right up until the point where chain lighting shoots from her teeny little claws. But she’s nice enough, you have no quarrels with her.

Vadania Nailo (Nightbreeze): The love of your life. You are devoted to Vadania, almost as devoted as you are to your Bow. She fills a gap in your life that even you weren’t aware of.

50 Coppers: There are half elves and there are half elves and then there’s 50. There are bards and there are bards and then there’s 50. That’s all you have to say on the subject.

You are a cat. You stand two feet tall in your booted paws and you’re covered in ginger and white fur. Your eyes are yellow, except when you’re trying to be cute, in which case the pupils fill the whole eye so that you look adorable. You wear a scintillating robe, specially made for you and black boots, along with a hat and a feather in said hat.

One liner: Beg for mercy from the Archmage….Puss in boots!

A long time ago, when you were still a halfling and lived in the village of Cornwall in the Kingdom of Hellas, your only desire was to become an Archmage. Your opportunity for adventure came when your friends, Scot de Sommerville and John Jordan, had to leave. John’s father (the barkeep) had tossed him out for being “a good for nothing tree hugger” and Scot’s father needed money to pay his taxes.
So off you went, seeking power, wealth, all the fun things in life. And you did find them. You had been on the road for barely three months when you heard of a monster that made its lair in the Cattarack Mountains. Not only was this creature making the life of the villages in the foothills hell, but apparently it was a real hoarder too. Well, Scot’s father still needed more money, so off you went. Turned out to be a giant spider. After one almighty battle, you managed to defeat it, though Scot turned around at death’s door. Since then, he’s not been able to stand spiders. But there was enough treasure to save the farm at least. So his arachnophobia is not in vain!
Well and so, for about a year and a half it was just you three in the Valorous Seekers (hey, Scot came up with the name….). One night as you were sitting around the campfire, miles from any form of civilization, the weirdest pair asked leave to join your fire. A Drow and her High Elf lover… You never did find out exactly how they ended up together, but be that as it may, they traveled with you for a while. While this brought certain problems with hostile Drow bands, the extra fire power and the help with traps made that worthwhile. So eventually Scot offered them a permanent place in the Valorous Seekers and that’s how Ivellios Holimion (Diamonddew) and Vadania Nailo (Nightbreeze) came to join you.
It was some six months after this when disaster struck. You still maintain that Vadania should have warned you about the door. How were you supposed to know she hadn’t checked it for traps yet? Be that as it may, the damn door handle grew into a lion’s head that snapped your head off…. Well, John had learned a new spell recently and this he employed to bring you back, to re-incarnate you. All well and good except that something went horribly wrong. Not only did you come back as a talking cat, but you’re completely immune to all forms of polymorph. There is no going back….
But being a cat does have its advantages. After all, if you’re sitting on someone’s lap, it’s easy to cast Paw of Death, once you learn that spell…
About six months ago you picked up yet another team member. Scot’s cousin, the half elf, 50 Coppers. You devoutly wished you’d never met the fool. His music (which he calls Rap) will never catch on, you hope! And if he calls you Homie just once more…
This was round about the time when you’d bought your tower in Redwall, the capital of Hellas. You were seriously considering hanging up the adventuring boots and taking an apprentice or two when Scot came visiting. King Redfern’s teenage daughter Princess Jennifer had been kidnapped by the great red dragon Dru’ager. Scot convinced you to go on one last adventure. So for the last six months you’ve been gathering information and traveling all over the Kingdom. Finally, the trail led you back to the Cattarack Mountains. And here you are, some six days travel from Redwall, in the heart of the Cattarack Mountains, about to assail a forbidding castle where you believe Dru’ager is keeping the princess…

Feelings toward the other characters:

Scot de Sommerville: The brave leader of your group. You and Scot grew up in the same village, even though you’re somewhat older, he was still a good playmate, once he grew out of his diapers! You get on fine with him.

John Jordan: Well, John is responsible for the fact that you’re walking around as a cat these days. On the other hand, now that you’ve gotten used to it, it’s not a bad thing. And like Scot, you grew up with John, so you can overlook these little faults. Especially as he gives you a warm spot to sleep on his bedroll and carries your stuff for you.

Ivellios Holimion (Diamonddew): Ivellios is a nice enough guy. Good with a bow, but rather flashy. He’s completely in love with Vadania and they make a cute couple, though the rest of the elven nation (both sides of it!) doesn’t seem to agree with you.

Vadania Nailo (Nightbreeze): Ivellios’s Drow lover. For a Drow and a Rogue, she’s a remarkably nice woman. But she could have warned you that she hadn’t checked the door yet!

50 Coppers: Who gives himself a name like 50 Coppers? Huh? Really, who does that? And then he makes horrendous semi music noise! And your tower definitely does not stand in the hood….wherever the hood may be!

Woah... that's a lot of stuff...

Okay, couple things: I think I follow the theme, but it would best if you posted exactly what it was at the beginng of the entry.

Normally the entry should be confined to a single post at the beginning of the thread, but given the length here, I'm not sure that will even work... if you can trim it down a bit to make it easier to read and fit in fewer posts, that might be good ;) The spell lists in particular don't need to include the blurbs describing what they do.

OK, removed the spell lists. It's still huge but not that huge anymore.

Also plonked the theme on top, hope that kinda makes it clear.

Oh, if anyone wants the module, I'll happily share <grins>
