Is Hank's short sword cold iron, or other exotic material? And if so, why?

Most "normal" swords are white, but Hinjo's cold iron katana is more of a greyish color.

Nice Spot check there. :)

If we're unlucky, it's some kind of obscure metal with +5 against Outsiders.

Well, there was some commentary about whether or not a rogue was wielding swords of ethrealness or something like that a few strips back. Rich noticed that he had failed to color in the swords, and quickly fixed them.

But Hank's sword was noticibly darker than Legal Pad Flunkie's, so I thought it might mean something.

Roy's sword stays the same color, even after being infused with star metal, but Hank's and Hinjo's have the same grey color.

Would a Thieves' Guild rogue need a special weapon like that, or would that be more for an Adventuring rogue? I'd expect an assassin rogue to have something to make kills faster or more effecient (unless the client was paying for messiness! :smalleek:), but a city rogue would probably spend more on stealth lessons than on some super wham-o-dyne sword.
