Once upon a time we had polls, and now we no longer do.

I'm not complaining, but I am curious as to the reason. Bandwidth-killers? Something else?

Can't remember the reason, but you can still have polls if you pm a mod and ask them nicely, and if it's a good reason.

I think it has less to do with bandwidth and more to do with server load. In any case, it definitely was because of slowness issues. And because when anyone could make them, it seemed like everyone felt a need to. I believe there was even a poll about whether or not people liked all these polls. :smallsigh:
