What are your favorite OOTS moments?

I have a few:

1. When Nale convinced Elan that Haley was evil (Suggestion played a role as well), and Haley's dark side came and was bitchy, and Haley revealed her secret. And then the next comic when they kissedAmazing. :elan: x :haley: FTW! And, :nale: x :sabine: I guess.

2. Belkar's moment of awesomeness: I AM A SEXY SHOELESS GOD OF WAR

3. Miko's death would be here because it was set up sad, but Therkla's is here now because I cried actually when she died. And the headnstone was awesome

4. :mitd: and his little tea party.

5. :roy: when he was fighting :miko:

Just off the top of my head:

1) More or less every comic with :belkar: . Especially "I AM A SEXY SHOELESS GOD OF WAR!", his Kobold-killing antics (particularly with Yokyok: "Oh shi-"), and messing with Miko ("When in doubt, set something on fire"). Oh, and "LickMyOrangeBallsHalfling."

2) The fall and death of :miko: . So much fun seeing her get what she deserved.

3) :thog:, following Elan into Haley's room, inexplicably wearing a Leprechaun costume. I laughed so ridiculously hard at that one.

4) Two :vaarsuvius: moments: "Explosive RunesTM Brand Coffee" and "Evan's Spiked Tentacles of Forced Intrusion."

5) :thog:: "Not Nale, not-Nale."

#409 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0409.html): Hinjo putting Miko down a peg or two. Yes, I know that Roy was more effective tactically speaking. I don't care; Hinjo's gesture had more significance and was actually more courageous than even Roy's.

#453 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0453.html): Hinjo "making peace" between the Huecuva and Kubota's surviving Ninja.

#429 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0429.html): Roy jumping for his certain death at the hands of Xykon because it was the right thing to do. And a rare yet delightful moment of Durkon initiative.

#428 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0428.html): both Haley's finest moment and the seer's eerie discovery.

3:V giving Miko the - explosive Runes - note (would have been the best if Roy didnt stop it.

4:Roy beating Miko upp.

5:Roy Insulting Miko for the first time (too bad they lost that battle).

- Xykon utterly dominating everyone on the battlefield until an epic level paladin spirit was finally enough to stop him in his tracks. Granted, he took a severe (and well deserved) beating afterwards, but the way he casually brushed aside all the heroes of the Order and Azure City was pretty badass.

- Lickmyorangeballshalfling was similiarly great, and skyrocketed the Oracle to 'favorite minor character' status.

- The MitD punching Miko through the wall, and his foot-stomping earthquake. Minor, but pretty important in my opinion, as a remainder that this character does still have a purpose.

- V enlarging the soldiers

- Belkar's awakening, both for the Belkar awesomeness and the Shojo awesomeness

... among others. Also some of the ones mentioned above, like Kazumi/Daigo's survival and Elan's and Haley's kiss.

For plot twists that I really didn't see coming, I don't think anything can top finding out that that murderous, violent, unstoppable... thing in blue was, not some undead monster, not some horror from the Lower Planes, not even a human assassin, but a paladin. Absolutely the last thing I expected under the hood.

When their horses vanish because Elan reminds everyone they no longer possess them. This happens about 6 times in any D&D game.

Roy getting into heaven combined with the look on his father's face. Even if it was a stick figure you could smell the rage.

And of course, Belkar lighting the Bandit camp's tent aflame, mostly out of boredom. I can laugh when it isn't someone across the table from me.

Also, after the trial she, when she's all confused? That's her dumbfoundedness at the trial not being a conviction.

No, really, translate it. The most common letter in the english sentence is "E".

Probably my favorite-
"Disintegrate. Gust of wind. Now may we PLEASE get back to saving the world!?"

"There! Zombie ogres. Just as strong and mean as regular ogres, but they eat less. Problem solved!"

"On behalf of all of the men in the city; thanks for wearing a short skirt while flying. You've given me a lot to think about... Heh..."
