Wizard spell options

Anyone have any good non-core/non-spell compendium wizard spells that buff melee combat? Preferably level 4 or lower.

Are we talking 4.0 or 3.5 here? As far as 3.5... I don't have it in front of me right now, but I know "Magic of Faerun" has some nifty stuff. Not sure if they have precisely what you are looking for, but I highly recommend looking to check since it does have a lot of unique spells.

Greater Mighty Wallop (Races of the dragon), duration 1hr / Lvl, increase size category of bludgeoning weapon by 1 category / 4 caster levels.

Sense of the dragon (Races of the dragon), duration 1min / Lvl, target creature gains blindsense to 30' (can detect invis but still has miss chance)

Anything in particular, AC, Stats, abilities(like pounce or something), damage dice?

I'm not sure, but Fist of Stone is in Complete Arcane, and is very good at low levels for a gish.
