From Vulpine Designs, welcome to...

Animaniacs the Werewolf Game!

Narrator: PhantomFox
Co-narrator: Happyturtle

It's time for Animaniacs (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=BtM_qFq_hxg&feature=related)!

And we're zany to the max!
So just sit back and relax, you'll laugh to the max
For Animaniacs!

Come join the Warner Brothers (and the Warner Sister Dot!)
Just for fun they run around the Warner movie lot.
They lock them in the tower, whenever they get caught!
But they break loose and then vamoose and now you know the plot!

We're Animaniacs!
Dot is cute and Yakko yaks
Wakko packs away the snacks
While Bill Clinton plays the sax
We're Animaniacs!

Meet Pinky and the Brain who want to rule the universe!
Goodfeathers flock together, Slappy whacks them with her purse!
Buttons chases Mindy, while Rita sings a verse.
The writers flipped, we have no script, why bother to reherse?

We're Animaniacs!
We have pay or play contracts.
We're zany to the max
there's baloney in our slacks!
We're Animany! Totally insane-y
(A Werewolf Game-y!)
We're Animaniacs!
Those are the facts!

At the Warner Brothers Studio...

"So you see Mr. Plotz, these cartoons are getting far out of hand! They're out of control and FAR too inappropriate for any decent children! There's violence in every scene, crude humor, innuendo, and most of them aren't wearing any pants!"
"Well, if the Network wants them gone, be my guest! I've been trying to de-zanytize them for years!"
"What's been the problem?"
"They're Toons! You can't go anywhere near them without having them drop anvils, or stuff dynamite down your pants! You simply can not CONTROL them!"
"Sounds like you'll have to catch them off guard. And thankfully, I know of just the device that will help us..."

At Acme Labs...

"Now Pinky, pay attention. This is the Toon-o-tron 5000. We will take this device to all the world's leader, disguise it as a mechanical political analyst, and use it on them. Once the entire global leadership is reduced to silly cartoons, no one will think twice about a lab rat running for office. Now-"
*BAM!"
"Stop right there! We're from the Network!"
"OOooooh.... the Network, poit! Ooh! Ooh! Do more reruns of Lavern and Shirley! I love that show, narf!"
"Quiet Pinky. What do you want?"
"We're taking this device from you! You are corrupting this nation's youth by promoting meglomania and cruelty to fellow animals!"
"Preposterous! You can't - hey! Come back here you thieving philistines! ... Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
"I think so Brain, but why would anyone want to pierce Brosnan?"
"No Pinky, we're going to have to get that device back by tomorrow night?"
"What we gonna do tomorrow night Brain?"
"The same thing we do every night Pinky.... TRY AND TAKE OVER THE WORLD!"
"We're going to need help though Brain."
"Amazing as it is, you're probably right Pinky..."

Later at the Water Tower...
"Fellow Cartoon! I, Yakko, stand before you... because if I stood behind you, you couldn't see me."
*rimshot*
"No, we come bringing dire news! We have been informed by our two small diminutive friends here, that the Network is attempting to infiltrate our ranks! They come to tone us down and make us 'politically correct' and 'children safe'! In short, they want to turn us into the Teletubbies. So we must find them! Wherever there is trouble, we'll be there! Wherever there is injustice, we'll be there! Wherever there is candy..."
"We'll be there a lot quicker!"

It is now DAY 1
-54 hours remain-

Core Roles:
Yakko: Fast talker - Yakko may redirect any action at him on the upcoming day/night at another player of his choice by PMing the narrators with his choice at night. Does not redirect kills.
Wakko: Extreme eater - Eat's the Xth person to post's point the upcoming day, where X is chosen by Wakko at Night.
Dot: The Cute One - The point of the player of Dot's choosing is changed to match Dot's. May not target the same person twice in a row.
Brain: One is a genius... - Seer
Pinky: ...the other's insane! - Fool
Slappy Squirrel: Dangerously Genre Savvy - Baner
Goodfeathers: Birds of a feather - Masons
Toons - Villagers

Network Censors - Wolves
Thadeus Plots: CEO - Devil
Ralph the security guard - Evil voider

But that's not all! There's no way we can leave out everyone else! So we have Guest Stars! At the start of the game, random players will be given numbered 'tokens'. Tokens may be given away during the night, and be stolen! Each token (secretly at first) corresponds to a Guest Star role. Each day phase, the players vote in blue for the Guest Star they want to 'cameo'. The next day/night, the person with the appropriate token gains a one-time ability! Tokens may be given away during the night, or be stolen during the day. A token is stolen by being the first player not currently holding a token to point at a token holder. Only one token per person allowed, no 'tag-backs'. Tokens held by a player that dies are randomly redistributed. A guest star that successfully cameos must wait two days before being allowed to be voted for a cameo again.

Guest Stars:
Skippy: Sidekick Nephew - May double someone's point
Mindy & Buttons: Badly Battered Babysitter - May redirect up to three points from someone else onto himself per day.
Dr. Scratchansniff: Staff Shrink - May learn who currently holds a specific Guest Star token.
The Mime: It's Mime Time - Mimics the actions of target player, if any, at another player of his choice.
Mr. Skullhead: Good Idea / Bad Idea - Makes his point 3 for that day, but starts off with 2 points against him the following day.
Hello Nurse: Heloooooo NURSE! - Voider
Minerva Mink: Gorgerous Mink - Minerva may take one player 'out of play' for a day. That person may not point, be pointed at, use actions, or be targeted by actions for that cycle.
Rita & Runt: - May either have Rita sing a beautiful song and reduce all points at the player by two, or have Runt be clumsy and secretly point at someone else in addition to their normal point.
Chicken Boo: He's a chicken I tell 'ya! - May disguise himself to scry as the role of his choosing. The next cycle, a player of his choosing receives the same disguise.

Players: 8/28
Aemoh: Lynched Day 1 - Toon

Dallas Dakota

Random Notes, Rules, and Details:
1) I reserve the right to drop rocks on anyone that ticks me off.
2) Autolynch is set at a generous three days of inactivity
3) Timers are 48 hour days and 24 nights
4) Posting PMs from the Narrator is frowned upon
5) When a player with a token dies, his token will be revealed and redistributed randomly
6) Tokens given away will take effect at the end of the phase but do not take precedence over steals

GOOD IDEA: Pointing randomly on day one. I'll go for Malmagor Andrigal

Bad IDEA: Randomly selecting guest stars on day one. (specifically Minerva Minx and Hello Nurse as their abilities are more likely to prevent one of the six pro-town power roles from using their ability than they are to stop Thadeus Plotz or Ralph the security guard. It would probably be safer to go for somebody who affects points, like Skippy or Mr. Skullhead)

Well, Pinky. Even though we normally fail at taking over the world, this time, it has been taken from us. Therefore, using the Vampiric/Cristo Debacle over the Murska Constant, and keeping the Rule of Shadow as the constant, I believe that this time, we can actually succeed, because our plan has already failed, even though we hadn't begun it!

With that, Pinky, I believe we should start our search at Iceddragons' place, as he can tell us what, on our list, is a good idea or a bad idea!

Also, I think that Chicken Boo should be turning up about now...

Fin
2009-01-03, 10:41 AM
Hmm, Chicken Boo for the cameo thingamabobba! And EDK, just because...

Edit: EDK just saved my day and as such does not deserve to be pointed at. For those who would query this check WW Central!

"Sigh..."

Darkcomet
2009-01-03, 06:48 PM
Huh...

A three-way race between myself, Murska, and Supagoof for the lynch.

Well, since I got there first, I'd be lynched, so...

Murska isn't me and seems to be the best chance to survive.

Okay, two people who are popular targets for some reason are being targeted on day 1. I imagine it's just as annoying for Murska, but I'm trying to survive here.

Do you people have something against us (well, there's always the Murska Constant, but it's often wrong), because I'm getting targeted a lot lately.

We could both target someone else, like Aemoh. That way neither of us was up for lynch.

2009-01-03, 10:02 PM
Dee Cee likes this idea.

Aemoh because he's not me and also not a usual target for random lynches.

Duos
2009-01-03, 11:48 PM
Duos is still wondering why a chicken is running a WW game. He also is pointing at *spins pointy finger-o-doom* Murska, because his random first day point is a good time to get vengeful pointing out of the way. He also wants Chicken Boo to go away and leave the narrations in peace.

Helooooooo Nurse!

Darkcomet
2009-01-04, 12:01 AM
You know, if I get Day 1'd again, I'm not going to play these games anymore. Because evidently, you get a bunch of angry players when you win games and you get killed off in other games because of it. I already got revenge lynched in SEU II for crying out loud.

Hyozo
2009-01-04, 12:46 AM
GOOD IDEA: Darkcomet calming down and noticing he's at a three-way three-point tie with Murska and Aemoh, both taking precedence over him.

Bad IDEA: Getting upset about the first day lynch. Some people will think you have something to hide.

Aemoh, can you make DC stop complaining? :smalltongue:

Probably not. Especially since I'm doing this:

And your 'too' looks like it's going somewhere. :smalltongue:
Nah, nobody ever explained the real difference to me, so I'm stuck using ''to' till either Drider or Curly come and save me.

Boo
2009-01-04, 03:47 PM
Well, 'too' generally refers to an amount.

'to' generally refers to movement, or some such. Really, you just have to remember whether it's an amount or not and then decide on which to use.

Now, you really shouldn't listen to me because I'm probably wrong in some way, and instead you should go post in friendly banter for someone to explain the difference.

While you're at it, ask someone the definition of the word 'the'. :smalltongue:

The day wore to a close, with the toons running amok pointing every which way. It seemed like pure chaos, and a few people were exasperated.

"I can't imagine how we're going to find something from this..."
"Just pretend you know what you're doing. It's only the first day after all."

The floor shook as an orange dinosaur stomped into view.
"Did someone say pretend? I love to pretend! Guh huh huh huh!"

The toons backed up in terror.
"It's Aemoh!"
"No silly, that's Baloney!"

"New friendly friends make me feel all warm and yum yum doodle dum inside! What shall we do?"
"... I know! Let's sing the Anvil Song! (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=UF6n-1I1cuU)"
"Buh huh huh he he! Gee goshums, I don't know that one."
"Don't worry, you'll catch on REAL quick... THE ANVIL SONG!:

An Anvil's black and shiny.
It's really heavy too!
So watch out my chubby friend
For one may fall on you!"

"On me? Guh huh huh he -"
*TWHANG!*

Miraculously, Baloney (aka Aemoh) pulled the Anvil off his head.

"Buh huh he huh! Neato complety yippie! That was great! I lovey dovey loved it! Let's sing it again!"
".... OKAY!

It's made of solid iron.
It weighs a ton or two.
We know you want to meet it,
It wants to meet you too!"

"Hu huh -"
*TWHANG!*

"... it wasn't pretty."
"But it had to be done."

Aemoh had Anvils dropped on him. He was a Toon.
Skippy was chosen as the Guest Star. He/She will be notified with his activated ability.

Could we not bandwagon me because I'm stuck posting from an iPod? supagoof to save my arse, and because shadow is apparently no longer a valid point.
((I get it, but that would be a bad "toon" move. Not calling you a bad toon, but a bad move for the toons.))

Supagoof gets back up to his feet and begins to walk, but can't get anywhere. He finds himself stuck in an area. Moving his hands around, it seems as if he's in a glass box. He whips out a boombox, and hits play (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFWkPVHKwCY).

Thes-puppy keeps bounding randomly around the set and causing the mass hysteria that only a puppy can.

She finds a stick, grabs it and runs over to Shadow with the large branch clenched tightly in her furry mouth.

She crouches down, holding her head to the side and wagging her tail. She looks up at Shadow expectantly.

Wolflord walks around whistling and crrying a giant malet behind his back, looking for someone to bop on the head. As he rounds a corner he spies Mustiado, rins up behind him and wacks him on the head with the mallet making a Mustiado pancake. Wolflord then proceeds to stick a bicycle pump into Mustiado's mouth and pump air into him turning him into a balloon. After Wolflord pulls the pump out of Mustiado's mouth he watches him fly around then walks up and appologizes. He then disappears leaving a cloud of dust in the shape of his body behind.

Thanks for that, I guess. By the way, is this a blind game? Because if it's not then that means all the wolves know each other and therefore they might not vote to lynch those people. It also means they can create strategies more easily.

Bad IDEA: Not voting.

I don't buy it.
Mainly because of this:

shadow obviouslyCould we not bandwagon me because I'm stuck posting from an iPod? supagoof to save my arse, and because shadow is apparently no longer a valid point.

Exactly what do you mean by that?
I'm no longer a valid point?!?
What have you found out?
Who do you know?
Why would you make whatever it is that you know so obvious?
Freak out much? Just refering to everyone jumping all over me for pointing at youThat was just a test run.
Just seeing what response I got. :smallwink:

"May I see? ... Oh, well then, carry on. But in the interests of fairness, we'd like you BOTH to use it."
"Fine, whatever will get you out of here..."

Pinky and the Brain strap themselves into the machine and start it running. As the process is well underway, a censor leans over.

"Except the coefficient values of your Fouriers... that should be sine instead of cosine... kinda flips the whole thing around..."
"No! Pinky! We must shut off the machine!"

Honestly, Lex-Kat, your logic is like Swiss cheese. It's full of holes and anyone who bites into it is going to need a lot of wine.

Go check your counts again for yesterday, and your logic. Those who were on the Mustiado bandwagon without any logic should be your real targets. Shadow simply kept the voting even, and I did it to save my own arse. Anyone else is suspect - Murska & Duos.

We lost that game.

That's not a valid reason. Trusting Shadow will always lead to losing the game, no matter on which side you are...

The other point is, you should never trust shadow not to be trustworthy either... because he will figure out some way to use that to spread chaos.

So, take Shadow and everything he says with a grain of salt, if what he offers might help your side, accept it with reservations. If what he offers will not help yourside tell him to take a walk (out an air lock preferrably).

But basically this advice goes for everyone whenever anyone approaches you in one of these games. Play your cards close, but if someone is proven to be on your side, be loyal to them to the death.

@v Bah, I ain't wiser than any other silly bugger, I'm just more paranoid.

In the Warner Bros. Studio lot, DarkComet stands before an angry lynch mob of toons, waving torches and pitchforks..
"Toons of Animaniacs!"
However, he is cut off as a trapdoor opens up underneath him and he falls a long way into a red hot cave filled with pools of lava, and a trio of singing she-devils.

"You plunge into the fire and it's really hot!
You have to stay forever whether you like it or not!
Where the torment never ends,
You've got firery brimstone and demons for friends!
You're in Hades (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=3jg4MCBnCl4&feature=related) now, for eternity,
Hope you're not too picky 'bout your company!"

DarkComet climbs out of the lava, black with soot and soon comes face to chest with a large demonic creature...
"Hey, you know the way out of here? I gotta go lynch someone else that's not me."
"Little fool! I am Beelzebub, Lucifer! The reaper of souls! The really angry one! I AM SATAN! BWAHAHAHAHA!"
"Not impressed. Hey, does George Hamilton know your tan is better than his? Listen... I gotta go, I don't want to get lynched."
"Foolish mortal, you HAVE been lynched! Beyond these doors lies an agony worse than all of us!"
"Another Bob Hope special?"
"Worse! You will remain locked in here for eternity listening to..."
Satan opens the door and reveals a scruffy looking guitarist.
"...whiny protest songs from the sixties."

*strum strum strum stum*
"Oh ah hate the guverment, more than you and me,
The guverment stole my goldfish, and turned off my TV!"

"Enjoy!"
With a mighty fling DarkComet was thrown in and the door locked.

Summary:
DarkComet was driven insane by protest songs. He was a Toon.

It's not like anyone expected you to give all your names to Shadow. All we wanted was a response detailing your refusal to our terms, so we could send our next PM stating 'okay, don't do that then but at least disguise Shadow as Cid every night from now on'. :smalltongue:

EDIT: It'd also have prevented us accidentally extinguishing your team later on.

A request from your narrators:

If/when you change your vote, please make a new post and strike the vote out on the original post. If you vote and realize you forgot to add in the guest star vote, make a new post for that. We update the spreadsheet as we go, and even though we double check before announcing the results (and sometimes triple check), it makes it a lot easier if you edit your old posts as little as possible.

We won't invalidate your votes if you don't comply, but it does make it more likely that we'll make a mistake somewhere--especially with all the powers floating around that affect points. And you'd really hate it if you or someone on your team accidentally got lynched by mistake.

Thank you!

End of Night Three

I love being a goodfeather (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=d6-Xpmj60PM). No matter what happens, we stick together, like the three musketeers!

Musketeers? What do you mean by that?

I just mean we're like the three musketeers, all for one and one for all.

Are you saying that I am Annette Funicello here to wear mouse ears for you? That I am some kind of Hey there Hi there Hi there Come and join our Jamboree punk on a kids tv show? Is that what you're saying?

No! I'm not saying that!

I... am a musketeer.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying.

The mongoose swings around the movie lot on ropes suspended in midair until someone points out that nothing is holding him up, at which point he plummets to the ground. He picks himself up and dusts himself off, then proceeds to challenge Lizard Lord to a duel because he looks more like a snake than anyone else in the immediate vicinity. And partly because he wants to look tough because Minerva Mink might be watching.

(This scene is in jest, as we all love our friendly Shadow )

A figure is sitting at his computer (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NFtnZcE9xE8) typing...
*takkety tak tak takkety*
"In the introductory post of Camp Sleeps-S'more, the campers return to the camp in control of Smelly Hippie despite having it been overrun by Camp-Wrong-Side-Of-The-Tracks the previous summer. And in Universal Smash Bros 2, Ganondorf was NOT an active Villain despite being in the narrations. And Andre Fairchild did NOT start the first Mafia, that actually was started first by Gezina. And those archive links for Convoy 1-6 in Central are so wrong, it's not even funny. And Baron Fatbelly is NOT technically a Werewolf game. It started out as something different but changed to the format later. And the first WW game to not be finished was Paranoia II, not Tardis II, how could they get that wrong?!"

The scene pans out to a television showing footage of this person.

"Is this you? Are you happily engrossed in Werewolf trivia and player habits to the point where your socks can probably stand up by themselves? Well, if you are, there's hope. There's help. There's the 'Please Please Please Get A Life' Foundation! Since its inception, the Please Please Please Get A Life Foundation has gently, and calmly brought people back to earth. Our staff, of trained professionals, will sooth you with their comforting therapy. Yes, even the toughest cases are solved in a nurturing serene manner."

Our figure is shown is a laboratory, with a group of toons around him.
"The first person to run Werewolf was DungeonMaster77. Alarra and Evnafets are the only two people to be in every Werewolf and Werewolf Classic. And while our narrator PhantomFox started his first game in Llama Llama Duck, he actually started halfway through the game. And..."

The toons looked at each other, nodded, and smashed poor Shadow with a giant mallet.

"Call now! The life you get... might be your own."

Summary:
Shadow was whalloped with a mallet. He was a Toon.

("Did you notice that walloped was spelled wrong? I think that was intentional...")

The only reason I voted for Shadow was because someone had to be lynched. This early in the game all we can really do is randomly point at people and I didn't want to upset someone who wasn't going to be lynched by randomly pointing at them.

Wow, I can hear the tires screech and smell the smoke as you backpedal. That's impressive.:smalltongue:It's all in fun Lex-Kat.

TwoBit - I understand, but by that same logic, we should all be randomly pointing like we did on day 1, not jumping on the first point of the day and following it until there's no choice. Shadow didn't even get an opening to explain any logic before the bandwagon grew to where it's unstoppable to turn back.

The wolves in this game will only have to avoid or join the bandwagons late if we play like that. Don't hand over the game so easily. Don't be a sheep.

Also Mindy and Buttons cause I always liked them when I was a kid.

Actually I don't think it's an insult, I jumped on bandwagons without really thinking about it often enough.

We've all jumped on a 'Can't think for myself' bandwagon at some point, haven't we? Yes. Yes we have. You might think you haven't, but you have.

Once again, I have lost track of things (you know, days, nights, hours, etc). I really really must start sleeping more than an hour or two at a time....

Lex-cat, because he's taking this way too personally. Keep in mind it's just a game.

Hellooooooooo Nurse!

Narf. Poit. That is all.

Pinky, as dim as that bulb is that lights your head up, I do believe you are on to something. Lex-Kat does indeed look rather like a cat. Come on, let's see what the Nurse knows.

He's totally a he. Or was anyway. It seems to be fairly flexible in the Playground...

This IS weird. Why was there no night kill? I assume that we would have found out if someone was baned, but...Hmm. I'll vote in Rita&Runt, and with hold my point for now, until I can decide who to point at.

...okay, i really expected these two posts to came up eventually, but not this soon.

It's not that i don't like people, i just find them really annoying. (Like Darkcomet or Piratemonk)

And in regards to Lex, well, you seem to be taking this too seriously, and you're not really justifying your points. And you bending the rules on Smash brothers 2 has nothing to do with this. :smalltongue:

Darkcomet

That's called "spite-killing."

Which I still hate. :smallannoyed:
