In D20 modern I'm playing as a Trog who is a marine technitian (SP?) His class is a crusading advocate. I need a little help playing this character. Anyone got any ideas?

First, you've got to wait more than 20 minutes before you "bump" a thread. give people some time - this isn't THAT big of a forum.

Second, you might want to use a spoiler in your sig, or make your image smaller - see the avatar and signature rules HERE (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/announcement.php?a=1) for more info.

Third, what exactly are you looking for? Mechanical "crunch" advice (what feats to take, what weapon to use, what tactics to use in combat), or "fluff" advice on how to RP a troglodyte, how to stay in character, or something like?

Alright, some advice.

1. Don't bump threads after only 20 minutes
2. Your sig picture is too big, please shrink it.

Finally, we need more details to answer this question, presumably anyway, I don't know D20 modern, but what do you need help with, roleplaying, optimizing, combat tactics, picking up hot trogodyle chicks?

(Ok Ill take your advice)

Mostly fluff but tactics would be helpful

I'm not familiar with Modern, but the thing about Trogs is that they really stink. You have to decide how you want to play that. You can make it all about "cultural differences" and assert that you don't stink anymore than some people don't like certain foods or that not everyone finds reptiles to be beautiful. You can make it about "misanthropy" and have your character spite everyone. Or finally, you could play the emo card and have your character suffer "identity crisis" and "rejection fears" from being born so terrible.

FYI: Trogs stink when they worry or get scared

Bump (is that okay?)
No, it's not.

You see, traditionally Bumping is done when a thread has fallen off the first page, and it's generally looked down upon. This is a forum, so don't expect instant gratification.

sure sure I won't bump again. My trog has: Fake IDs, disguise kit, perfume, and gets +15on hide (19 is rocky setting) all so he can get through town without racism.
