This handy spell lets you talk to people who aren't there:

Target: Piece of hair or flesh from intended subject
Casting Time: 1 minute
Duration: 1 minutes per caster level
Range: Five feet
The spell creates a transparent intangible hologram of whomever the body part belonged to. The hologram can speak, see, and hear, but cannot move beyond the range of the spell. The hologram has the same personality, wisdom, charisma, and intelligence as the real version, though their memory only contains their general and professional knowledge and the broad gestures of their lives, a summarized version with the major events, places, and people. It is unlikely to know secrets. The hologram is aware of its nature and will freely chat and provide advice to those it recognizes as friendly but will avoid aiding enemies. It cannot be killed or physically or magically coerced into talking. The subject will be created in their current state, if dead the hologram might show a lifeless and immobile corpse.
