You need Inkscape (http://www.inkscape.org/). It's intuitive, easy to learn and can be used by both amateurs and experienced artists. You should also try reading the OOTS Inkscape Tutorial (http://www.trazoi.net/tutorials/inkscape/oots/), once you've downloaded it.

The images are a little sketchy, but the use of Inkscape could improve the quality of the images. The tutorials also helped me in designing avatars.

Pretty good, but there is too much white space, so try getting rid of that stuff.

Thanks. I've been using GIMP to make these, where do I get inkscape?

And in addition to inkscape, here is Trazoi's Guide. (http://trazoi.net/tutorials/inkscape/oots/)

Wings are pretty hard to draw, but the positioning is off, they're a little bit to high, currently they look like they're oming out of the neck.
The 'trenchcoat' is very flat and look like a cape that's really weird.
I suggest coloring the parts behind a tad darker. Arms look a tad to short. And the feet a tad to short also.

I'm not commenting on the drawing of the wings.

I don't really get what's going on there. There is the dwarf and this four-armed hobgoblin and the dwarf is critical-hitting it with a javelin (you could have split that up into more panels, where the javelin is more visible so the reader can see it at first glance, and maybe a panel of the dwarf tossing it). Then the fourth wall repair guy fixes the panel border ad suddenly the hobgoblin explodes.

But there seems to be absolutely no reason for the explosion. At least there is no connection between the explosion and anything happening before.

And the guy in the middle of the last pane seems kind of random.

All over I think the comic just lacks a bit of explaining.
Otherwise the art is very nice, especially considering you just started oots style.

Thanks,

The reason that the plot holes are so big is because this will be comic 100-and-some, and the javelin is the "lightning bolt of thor". It explodes in lightning, when it hits. and this really did happen in a D&D adventure (other than the fourth wall repairman)

ah, now that makes a lot more sense. In that case id suggest put the 4h wall repair panels together either in the end or at the point of the first repair panel, as a kind of intermission.

And well, yes the reader is simply lacking knowledge here to understand the reason for the explosion. If this is somewhere in the middle it might actually work.

I can visualise that conversation taking place but with Aberham Lincoln and William Shatner. Weird.

It probably hurts if it gets inside your armor and nibbles around.

The fish belt is beyond wrong. The other parts are due to a flimsy fourth wall. That or the artist did not adjust the size of the frames in order to fit the entire image.

It's actually sculpture of a piece of ham that the guy has his beard braided around.

Your sig banner is WAY too big, and it stretches my screen (even though, with my high res I would have thought that that would be impossible).

This. ^

Max image size for a sig banner is 468 width x 120 height, if I remember correctly.

Ah, so it is a beard - I couldn't figure it out (and my closest guess was that it was some very large out-of-body gills :smalleek:).
