So I've gotten better with addition and sums thanks to d20 games. I'm aware that Palladium does percentile stats.

What I wonder is if there's a game where instead of DCs being simple addition the DCs have to be reached by multiplying the d20 roll by the modifier of the character. ...or something.

Anyone have any suggestions? I mean, it'd make a difference between trained skills and simple rolls, and level adjustment could play a part. (like the multiplier is increased by 1 per level, so a 5th level fighter with 3 Str would multiply their d20 roll by 8).

Any criticisms?

Heavy Gear. Nothing in that system is linear. Nothing. And the damage rolls themselves are straight-up multiplication.

In classic traveller (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traveller_(role-playing_game))'s spaceship combat nukes and heavy missiles do 1d6*1d6 damage, while heavy nukes do 1d6*1d6*1d6 damage.
