Using all the same tricks I did in Afroakuma's fight:

MV(CL16) x2 on Liam from Keld
MV(CL16) x2 on Traj from Keld
GMW (CL12) x12 on all weapons (Chained from Lesser Rod)
Hero's Feast on all, CL16
Hero's Feast - 1d8+8
Ectoplasmic Armor(CL8) cast on everyone from Buff Betty
Extended Mass Conviction(CL16) cast on everyone from Keld
Extended Battle Magic Perception (CL16) cast on Keld
Minor Aura - Motivate Dex kept up by Betty
Mage Armor on Issendir and Betty from Issendir

[roll1]
[roll2]

Liam is in 2 [roll3]
Traj is in 3 [roll4]
Keld is behind Liam [roll5]
Issendir is behind Traj [roll6]
Betty is behind Keld [roll7]

Hmmm, Hero's Feast didn't roll right because I copied it over from my fight with Afroakuma.

Again, Hero's Feast...
[roll0]

brb, lunch time.

Both creatures appear as large metalline constructs that vent large amounts of steam. The smaller one appears to wield electrical powers, while the larger you recognize as emulating a dragon. They are of the Construct type and carry the Steam-Powered subtype.

Initiative:
Betty
Issendir
Traj
Liam
Keld
Steambeast
Steamdraken

Your move.

Betty - Casts Haste

Issendir - Delays

Traj - casts swift Inspirational Boost, begins a Dragonfire Inspiration (+3 base), then activates his Badge of Valor as an immedate action after his turn (uses next rounds swift action). Traj is also in Punishing Stance, if it matters.

Liam - Delays

Keld - Activates Circlet of Rapid Casting as a swift action, using 2 charges to cast Recitation, granting +3 to hit, saves, and AC for all allies (all worship Pelor). Standard Action to cast Righteous Wrath of the Faithful, giving +3 moral to attack and damage rolls, which is effectively +2 hit and +3 dmg because base stats assume Hero's Feast, a +1 moral to hit.

Issendir comes out of delay, casting Teleport (self + 3 others) to move himself, Liam, Keld, and Traj up so that Liam is 5' back from each of the monsters and centered between them. Uses Circlet of Rapid Casting (2 charges) as a swift action to cast Split Ray of Enfeeblement augemented by his Rod of Empower, targeting one each. Flat-footed Touch attacks
[roll RoE DMG]1d6+5 x1.5
[roll RoE DMG]1d6+5 x1.5

Liam comes out of delay, moves 5' forward and makes a full attack, first against the beast, moving to the Drachen if the beast drops. Flurry and PA for 2.

And thats my turn.

Crap, RoE didn't roll...again

RoE Beast - (1d20+16)[22] [roll0] x1.5
RoE Drachen - (1d20+16)[35] [roll1] x1.5

Edit:
So the beast gets a penalty of -13, and the drachen gets a -15

I'll need you to overcome SR 20 on both creatures.

Liam's primary and haste attacks combined take down the Cyaegha steambeast. The rest of the attacks go into the steamdraken, but it remains standing. It will full-attack Liam.

I'll roll as if you overcome the creature's SR: if you don't, the melee attack rolls will all be increased by 7.

Bite; Claw; Claw; Bolt (1d20+16=17, 1d20+14=22, 1d20+14=18, 1d20+11=14) (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1900274/)

If these hit, here's damage (again, with the penalty: add 12 to the bite and 8 to the claws if you don't pass SR).
Bite; Claw; Claw; Bolt damage; Bolt fire damage (2d6+6=14, 1d8+4=10, 1d8+4=7, 1d6=4, 1d6=3) (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1900280/)

/crosses fingers

Do you want me to roll for the dead guy?

EDIT:
Liam's AC is 32...errr, 35, forgot about the Recitaiton. I think that means all your attacks miss.

That OotS about being a better warrior because of number sense? Yea, thats me all over. I have that one printed out and stuck in the binder I keep my high level fighter in. I show it to everyone when I have mathfail issues.

Yup, that passes. Your move. I'm going to assume you'll poke the steamdraken with a stick and it'll explode.

Explode? ****, wasn't expecting Death Throes! Whats the DC?

Uh... I was kidding? There's no death throes, but maybe I should add those to the steam-powered subtype. It'd make sense.

Keld Denar

Definitely! Hot water damage for everyone!

Do you want me to roll Liam's attacks?

If you can deal at least five damage after DR 15 and fire resist 10, the steamdraken will die.

Keld Denar
2009-01-16, 06:00 PM
I don't think its a problem. I also forgot to mention that Liam's axe blade is Adamantine. Its on the character sheet. Should he have killed them both in 1 round?

Got anything bigger?

Fax Celestis
2009-01-16, 06:08 PM
Yeah, I checked that. The adamantine got through the steambeast's DR, but not through the steamdraken's.

Keld Denar
2009-01-16, 06:14 PM
Yea, freakin Starmetal. BTW, though, I'm pretty sure that Starmetal and Adamantine are pretty much interchangeable, except that Starmetal also does mean things to Undead. I might be wrong, and I don't have my CArcane in this state, but thats what I thought.

Anyway...what else ya got? Fighting multiple foes would probably be more advantageous for you, and less for me.
