Throughout the universe, Kaos reigns. Wherever there is nothing, Kaos is everywhere. Whenever there is anything, Kaos inevitably reasserts itself. Destroyer of sanity, vanquisher of order, and high lord of entropy, Kaos is king.
And now Kaos comes, a whisper in the night, and yet shaking the world to it's core. Promises are whispered in your ear, promises of power beyond mortal imagining. Will you accept? Will you decline? Will you actualize radishes greenly? Only time will tell…

Welcome, ladies, gentlemen, and everything in between, to Ultimate Kaos III: Twice The Narrators, Twice The Players, and Twice The Chicken Nuggets*! Conarrator Jontom Xire and I will be running a 30-person game of confusion, hilarity, and suspicion. Now, crunchy time!

Rules:
This is a werewolf game, so standard stuff applies. 48 hour days (probably) to vote for a lynch target, and 24 hour nights (once again, probably) to do other stuff. Ability interference is in affect – that means that if a player is targeted with more then one of an ability, those abilities cancel out. In addition, the game will require a 25% percent majority to lynch (which includes varied votes, such as a double voter role – all the potential effective points for the day are tallied up, and for a lynch to occur, the player with the most votes must have an effective point score of 1/4 of the prior total). I… think that's everything.

Roles:
This is the interesting part. I will not be releasing the role list. Instead, the only people who know the roles are JX and I. Now get signing up, peons!

A radio. The wafting tunes of 'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life'. Pan out to the familiarly tan seat, covered with dust. Then to the graffiti covering the walls. And then the subway, covered with a picture of a giant, torn in half. And as it pans out even farther, voices are heard over the music. "Murska's always a wolf!" "I point at Alarra for pointing at Helgraf for pointing at Magtok for pointing at…" "It's day three – we have to lynch Shadow!" "… and I hear "Always look on the bright side of life" on the radio. And I think, that's weird, I've never heard that song on the radio before. And then I realized – it was a…"
And as the slow outward pan continues, the werewolf lynch mob blurs as the camera focuses in on Uncle Festy, his cape blowing dramatically in the wind, his expression stoic, and his voice clearly edited in. He speaks… "Kaos. Kaos never change –"
"I stabbity death TPAM in the right buttock!"
"Urk!" Uncle Festy cries, collapsing.
"… what?"

Summary
Uncle Festy was killed. He was an Ordyr Inquisitor.

In most games? Yeah, probably better to lynch. In Ultimate Kaos? I don't think any definitive answer can be given as to whether lynching people is good or bad. Heck, last game they lynched the narrator!

Ultimate Kaos 2 (http://werewolfitp.freebyte.us/WWArchive/UltimateKaos/UltimateKaos2/t-91135.html) had a devil but no wolves, a set of villagers with a night kill action, and a martial artist whose win condition is to kill two people who are trying to protect him. So yeah... not a normal game as far as lynching rules go.

I implore you all to give me a last minute pardon on this one, sadly I haven't managed to get online in time to save myself it seems. So if I do die, do me all a favour and take DC out with me!

Since when was there a "Team Good"?

He sat there, on the roof of the building. "Ah, Kaos…" he murmured. "It is so… beautiful." He watched them down below, like ants, so easy to just reach out and… crush.
"The spy knows the truth. He must be silenced."

Shadowcaller slipped out of the building, his mission complete for the night. All that was left was to return and report his findings to –
A figure leapt at Shadowcaller. The spy barely managed to make out a blue bodysuit, yellow boots and scarf, and a red helmet with a golden bird. However, that was all he could see before the man shouted "Falcon… HEADBUTT!" and smashed their skulls together.

"The necromancer wants to usurp me. He must be expelled."

Catseye sat in his lair beneath the city. His horde was growing, but it was too slow… too slow… he had to step up production, or he'd never rule the city!
He stepped outside his cave to head up to the surface, but he stopped short as soon as he left. "Where is this place?"
A voice floated through the unfamiliar cavern. "Welcome… to the Tomb of Horrors."
"… well that can't be good."

"The cheese eaters want cheese. They must be stopped."

Istari sat at the head of the table. "As president of the Cheese Eaters, I insist on order! We cannot keep on fighting like this, or we'll never –"
But the players reading the narration never found out what Istari would never do, because his head turned into an octopus.

"So I speak, and so it is accomplished." He stood up, grinned, and disappeared in a puff of whisper-colored smoke.

Summary
Shadowcaller, Catseye, and Istari were killed. They were the Spy, Necromancer, and Cheese Eater President, respectively.

The villagers converged around Jontom Xire.

"KILL THE DEVIL! KILL THE DEVIL!" they chanted. Jontom stood, back to the wall, and in a panic.

http://jx.dyndns.org/ootc_avatar3.png

"No… not now… this can't be…"

"Oh, but it can." One of the villager's forms faded away into black smoke, reforming as a tall, shadowy figure. "Your time has come to an end, Inquisitor Xire."

http://i431.photobucket.com/albums/qq40/happyturtle-avs/werewolf/highlord.png

"You can't harm me. You know that."

"This is correct. But they can. Illusion."
The shadowy figure sweeps forward, engulfing Jontom. The blue Devil's form appears to shift, taking on a shadowy, demonic form from hell. Jontom looks at his form.

http://i431.photobucket.com/albums/qq40/happyturtle-avs/werewolf/demon-1.png

"What the hell?…" The crowd stands still for a moment, seeing Jontom's horrible form. Then, as one, they charge. As the melee subsides, Jontom lies on the ground, the illusion dispelled. He coughs up blood, and wheezes,

"You don't… don't know what you've… you've done…" He closes his eyes for the last time.

Now THIS is Kaos.
Anyways, thanks for the bailout, Happy. If I get enough actions, I'll probably post the update in a few hours. Please send them in!

Ignore the corpse.

All of the subjects of the Glorious Empire of Cheese should be sending their night actions to their Empress. Uncle Festy is no longer allowed to do updates.

Well, I wouldn't be surprised… I mean, Happy's now done more updates then Jontom!
:smalltongue:
((Oh yeah, and the pictures were a nice touch.))

Out of curiosity, what did you think when you first saw the Jontom wagon?

WTF? I'm so lucky he didn't get us killed. And having looked at my role, I believe I am required to support Fullbladder in his claim as king. All players are required to surrender any items, treasure, loot, weapons, etc. to King Fullbladder.

Your Imperial Majesty is willing to permit Lord Fullbladder a place in her royal entourage.

Do not overstep your bounds, goblin!

Of course, Your Worship. I'll gladly start small and infiltrate my way up.

Very well. I will now trust you implicitly until the inevitable betrayal.

*taps each shoulder with a sword*

I dub thee The Right Honourable Viscount Fullbladder of Stilton.

*presents ring to be kissed*

Arise, my trusted lieutenant!

Empress? Do I have permission to crush the Rebel Scum?

Indeed, General Wolfbane. But I want the paladin alive. Do not fail me!

It shall be done.

Er, Your Worship, would it not be wiser to simply kill the paladin? Surely he/she is the most powerful of these rebels, and most likely to elude non-lethal means of capture.

*cringes in anticipation*

I must have him alive. I must witness his prolonged and painful death with my own eye!

However, you have permission to maim him as much as necessary to prevent his escape.
