Happy Australia Day!

That's right! It's that day dedicated to the greatest nation on earth, and we would all do wise to celebrate it!

Australia Day commemorates the landing of Captain Cook at Botany Bay (double aliteration! ha!), all that time ago back in 1788.

So celebrate!

Or we'll send the convicts mounted on poison kangaroos after you.

Curses! I was going to post a similar thread, so I'll have to make a reasonably unique post. Hmm...

A Happy Australia Day and a Solemn Invasion Day to all! May all your holiday dreams come true, whether they be for peace and prosperity or for the expigation of the European invaders!

Happy Australia Day.

Here's a question to you australians: Is it true that everything in australia is poisonous? even the antidotes?

If I put in a blatantly half-hearted show of celebration, can you put in a good word with the elder gods that feed on kangaroos, Fosters, and stereotypes? I'm trying to get some signatures for my Ban Radioactive Temple Grounds petition.

No. The centipedes are not poisonous, unlike some other countries.

Yes, but you still have to deal with that internet filter.

Yes, but you still have to deal with that internet filter.

It's being opposed by quite a few big ISPs over here, mine included.

Yah! Another day celebrating that we have managed to win another battle in the secret never ending war against the animals of Australia.

..Australia doesn't have the full internet?

Why would your white male overlords ever want to risk limiting the amount of porn they can get?

Wiggy. Well, I guess we're glad your ancestors survived being stuffed into ships and sailing across the world.

No, we still have the full net, for now. Government is thinking about 'censoring' thing internet which is being very strongly opposed by certain ISPs and a large proportion of the population.
