Inkscape avatar question...

I'm starting this in an attempt to get myself some help with making an oots-style avatar in inkscape. I've got it mostly working, but I'm having a hard time getting the facial hair on my dwarf rogue to work properly. any suggestions?

draw out a rough idea of the shape of the hair and then play around with the nodes until you are satisfied. If you really really need help just look at durkon for facial hair.

Not exactly for the beard(He may have updated it into it, I dunno) but I, along with most Inkscape users here, have found Trazoi's guide (http://www.trazoi.net/tutorials/inkscape/oots/) to be most excellent and handy for learning how to create OOTS style avatars.
