I am starting a gestalt campaign with zombie invasion theme. As main enemy is undead, I want some PrC that is good against undead. However, not to overpower it, it needs to be about the same power level of fighters etc. fighting undead so that it's class abilities are just more undead -flavour.

Yet, even though it has undead flavour, it should be semi-playable even in other campaigns if possible, sooo... hard task.

My first PrC, be gentle.

Ghoulslayer

After the hell was broken lose in the form of undead, the church of St. Cuthbert was first to react. Within a matter of weeks, they had started a new organisation specializing in fighting against this new threat. The Hunters have two kinds of specialists, one that concentrates on magic and other with more strenght in chopping the undead to pieces. The latter, Ghoulslayers, are represented here.

Broken sensor tingling!

You're ideas are good, but most of the abilities are way too powerfull, a couple powerfull abilities are allright, but they should come late and not as much, Detect undead has a way to large range, I would make it similar to the detect undead (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/detectUndead.htm) spell, resist ability damage would be a high level effect and immunity to negative levels and ability drain should never be gotten, experienced strikes is very unorthodox and is very powerfull. You haven't listed the number of uses of searing light and daylight. And I can't see why anyone wouldn't take this in an undead slaying campaign

Well, experienced strike is meant to only remove DR of bludgeoning, piercing and slashing and as piercing is less common and the undeadhunters would already have one of the two...

Also, searing light does 8d6 damage on undead and earilest you could get that is 15th level, later if not gestalt campaign. As it is standard action as all spell like abilities, most of the time you could deal more damage if attacking and full attacking so I didn't think it was necessary to cap the uses.

What if I changed Divine health to 5th level, removed immunity to negative levels, changed the detect undead as the spell and capped SLAs for up to level/day?

EDIT: And should I also change HD to 10?

I would just say go back to the drawing board, but with the abilities you have now

1st: Detect undead (As the spell)
2nd: nothing
3rd: Resist undead (+2)
4th: Resist ability damage (halved)
5th: nothing
6th: resist undead (+4)
7th: daylight (Level/day)
8th: resist ability damage (none)
9th: resist undead (+6)
10th: Immunity against undead

This is close enough to playable that I might allow it.

Wait, HD is d12, make that d10 at the most, d8 might be better.

Okay, thanks for the help. I think I will change those as you said.

Still, anyone else having more comments or suggestions as nice abilities would be welcome.

So, as it was bound to happen, here is the other part of the organisation - the spellcasters. This is now my second PrC so it will propably still need a lot of work anyways. ;D

Divine destructor (Also taking suggestions on the name)

After the hell was broken lose in the form of undead, the church of St. Cuthbert was first to react. Within a matter of weeks, they had started a new organisation specializing in fighting against this new threat. The Hunters have two kinds of specialists, one that concenctrates on physical combat and another one which uses magic in the aid of fighting against undead. This PrC is for the latter.

Ghoulslayer's spell-like abilities should probably be usable 3 + Cha mod times per day. That's a more standard (and more balanced) method.

I still don't see how it would be overpowered for a fifteenth level character to use Daylight 7 times a day instead of 3+cha modifier, but for the purposes of obeying standards, I changed it.

Any comments on this caster PrC? Overpowered? Underpowered? Lame?

The L10 ability needs some rewording, because as it stands, the Divine Destructor can cause any of his spells to half-positive, and then add his class level to the damage.
