Hi All,
I'm doing character generation for a future 3.5 game, and i'm looking for a little help with some of the character concepts.
House rules and character generation rules:
starting at level 1
My House rules:
DnD 3.5
Stats 28 point buy (http://yellowrex.com/tools/pbcalc.php)
Wound and Vitality points (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/adventuring/vitalityAndWoundPoints.htm)
Spell points (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/magic/spellPoints.htm)
All official sources and splatbooks allowed with the following exceptions:
No Psionics,
No book of 9 swords.
setting: Forgotten realms.
Characters must be approved by me.
No complete cheese builds.
No evil characters.
re-builds of particularly unbalanced classes will be considered (especially monks)
Allowed: monstrous races, awakened animals, undead, constructs, weird concepts.
The Party so far
Centaur scout
I did some work on the centaur level progression, here's a breakdown:
L1: +2 str, -2 Int, size (medium), Darkvision 30', speed 30'.
L1 character class (in monstrous humanoid racial class), 4x (2+ int modifier) skillpoints (class skills: Listen, move silently, spot & survival), L1 feat, BAB +1, D8 Hitpoints (max at 1st level so 8)
L2 will give a +1 Level Adjust (no Hitdice), +2 str, +2 con, +1 natural armour, Darkvision 40'
L3 will be another class level, +2 wis, (2+ int modifier) skillpoints, BAB +1, d8 hitpoints
L4 will be the 2nd Level Adjust (no Hitdice), +2 str, +2 con, +1 natural armour, Darkvision 50', speed 40'
L5 is the 3rd racial class level, size increases to large, +2 str, +2 dex, (2+ int modifier) skillpoints, BAB +1, d8 hitpoints
L6 will be the final racial class level and mark you finally becoming a young adult, +2 dex, (2+ int modifier) skillpoints, BAB +1, d8 hitpoints, +1 natural armour, Darkvision 60', speed 50'
I hope this makes some kind of sense.
the character needs to pick 1 feat now (a suggestion of a few options please).
The base stats are:
Str:14
Dex:14
Con:14
Int:12
Wis:10
Cha:12
Warforged Monk
some form of monk fix is needed, and a points buy stats suggestion.
I'm thinking of full BAB and reducing flurry bonus to what it would be at 3/4 BAB. other Monk fix suggestions welcomed.
Grey Elf Beguiler
Str:10
Dex:14
Con:14
Int:16
Wis:10
Cha:10
suggested feats:
Spell Focus: Enchantment
Unsettling Enchantment
Fey Heritage, Fey Skin, and then Fey Power, getting DR 2/cold iron and then 3/ cold iron and +1 on Enchantment DCs.
wood elf bard
going for melee bard build
edit:
awakened or anthromorphic badger druid (biggest problem)
druid is obviously way over-powered compared to other classes, I'm thinking of offering 2/3 progression - he can increase any 2 of his 3 class features each level, wildshape progression or casting progression or animal companion progression. (and maybe gimp the animal companion back anyway, too ranger type perhaps)
edit:
Any thoughts, comments or suggestions please?
