View Full Version : Help Me Pick MT Spells

I'm writing up an epic mystic theurge for a new campaign, and it's become clear that I need to optimize more than I know how to to be on par with the DM's expectations. I have enough cash that I could simply write "all cleric and wizard spells" in my spell book entry, but I'd still like to get an idea of which spells are really good.

So here's the deal: I'm an archivist/wizard/MT with access to all nine spell levels, so my save DCs won't suck. I know there will be a lot of undead and "tentacley things" in this campaign. I want some good buffs for my allies; the DM has given us access to a metamagic feat that changes spell targetting, so Personals can be buffs too. I also want some good no-save/no-SR spells. Or at least, what's that spell that grants a big bonus on SR checks? I've already mined out the PHB for good spells, so I'm looking for advice on non-core spells. I have access to just about every WotC book.

Thanks,
TS
