Benefit: When you strike with an attack of opportunity you deal an extra 1d6 points of damage of the same damage type as the weapon used.

Is the feat well balanced?

It's fine in terms of balance. Extra damage dice has become the norm for bonus feat damage (crushing grip, fists of iron, etc.) and +1d6 isn't going to change anything- especially (and I love this part) because they deserve it when they provoke an AoO.

Frankly, it seems a bit low powered in my opinion, but it's almost perfectly balanced against other AoO feats- it just does a bit of damage rather than opens up a combat option.

Would perhaps 1d8 be more appropriate?

or 1d6 plus str modifier perhaps...
