Could a half Elf Qualify for the Elf paladin racial subsitution?
The only reason i would say yes is do to Half elves having the Elven blood racial trait.

Wanted to here other playgrounders thoughts on this.

I don't believe so. Elven Blood says "For all effects related to race, a half-elf is considered an elf." That is, for things like Favored Enemy (Humanoid [Elf]), Elf-only magic items, and stuff, a Half-Elf is considered an Elf, but for PrCs and feats, I don't think so.

Yes. That's what the elven blood trait is for. (and it includes feats and Prestige classes too)
