There've been enough threads for OotS, so why not Super Robot Wars?

Ryuusei Date: Tom Kenny (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Kenny) (Not all his voices are that high-pitched, you know)
Raidiese "Rai" Branstein: Johnny Yong Bosch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Yong_Bosch)
Aya Kobayashi: Kari Wahlgren (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kari_Wahlgren) or Kate Higgins (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kate_Higgins)
Kyosuke Nanbu: Richard Epcar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Epcar) or Steven Blum (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_Blum) (Neither is quite right, but meh...)
Excellen Browning: Jessica Calvello (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jessica_Calvello) (If she can voice Excel she can voice Excellen :smalltongue:)
Zengar Zombolt: Dan Green (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Green_(voice_actor)) (You know it would be awesome )
Elzam von Branstein/Ratsel Feinschmecker: Crispin Freeman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crispin_Freeman)
Kusuha Mizuha: Stephanie Sheh (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephanie_Sheh) (Who else do you turn to for a role like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nE3ddn8sYdo)?)
Ingram Prisken: Kyle Hebert (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyle_Hebert)
Viletta Prisken: Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Elizabeth_McGlynn) or Colleen Clinkenbeard (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colleen_Clinkenbeard) (Major Kusanagi or Lt. Riza Hawkeye? Tough choice)
Mai Kobayashi/Levi: Michelle Ruff (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelle_Ruff) (She can use just the right hint of snobbishness (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-DtPFtB_zg))
Masaki Ando: Yuri Lowenthal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuri_Lowenthal)
Shu Shirakawa: Michael McConnohie (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_McConnohie)
This guy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoioGHnWHio): Sam Riegel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Riegel) (ALL OF HIS CHARACTERS SOUND INSANE)

I'd say that Crispin Freeman should be Ingram. This role fits him perfectly.

Raidiese "Rai" Branstein: Johnny Yong Bosch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Yong_Bosch)

Black Ranger himself? Him or Kyosuke. Scott McNeil would also be alright (think his voice as he did Wolverine in X-Men Evolution)

Kyosuke Nanbu: Richard Epcar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Epcar) or Steven Blum (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_Blum)

Maybe, although I don't quite see Kyosuke's voice having grown to be that cool just yet.

Zengar Zombolt: Dan Green (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Green_(voice_actor)) (You know it would be awesome )

Are you kidding? That's the voice I hear in my head whenever he speaks!

Kusuha Mizuha: Stephanie Sheh (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephanie_Sheh) (Who else do you turn to for a role like this?)

B.J. Ward? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betty_Jean_Ward)

Ingram Prisken: Kyle Hebert (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyle_Hebert)

I see his as more of a Cam Clarke (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cam_Clarke) voice.

Masaki Ando: Yuri Lowenthal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuri_Lowenthal)

Better yet, Crispin Freeman or Mark Hildreth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Hildreth_(actor))

Also:

Ryoto Hikawa: Spike Spencer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spike_Spencer)
Rio Mei Long: Tiffany Grant (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiffany_Grant)
(Come on, we just gotta!)

Giado Verendi: Phil LaMarr (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_LaMarr)
Garnet Sunday: Rachel Lillis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Lillis)

Lamia Loveless: Bailey Chadwick ( ) or Bridget Hoffman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridget_Hoffman)

Zengar: "I can cleave whatever I want, because I'm voiced by Dan Green (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=si5L6Ga7IQo)!"

Ingram: "The Ingram Prisken you knew never existed."

Ryoto Hikawa: Spike Spencer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spike_Spencer)
Rio Mei Long: Tiffany Grant (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiffany_Grant)
(Come on, we just gotta!) I see what you did there, but I won't accept Grant as anyone but Katina Tarask, nor anyone else for that role. And Spencer whines too much to be Russel, before you suggest it. He'd be a pretty good Ansuz (or one of those guys), and therefore possibly Arado. I always imagine Russel in Kyon's English voice, but Freeman's too good and versatile to relegate him to a rehash part. I support him as Ingram or Gilliam, actually.

I'm not 100% sure on Hillary Haag's hotblood cred, but if she can manage it while still sounding super-cute, I nominate her for Latooni Subota. Umm...gee, I should really pay more attention to American voice actors. Wendee Lee is good, but she needs to voice someone relatively mature...I want to say Leona Garstein. Young, highish voice, but very adult tone - something I think she can pull off. Also very different from her other roles, but I have confidence in her versatility in parts that aren't bratty teenagers.

Steven Blum should play Irm. No questions.

Based solely on her performance as Tessa Testarossa (which I did love), I'm not sure if Hillary Haag could do hot blooded. I completely forget her name, but whoever did Melissa in FMP did Hot Blood (if a bit crazy) very well.

And if you think that Spike Spencer can only do whiney, take a listen to Yeager (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kBWrA8Km54). He's the crazy german dude.

And listening to a Japanese version of Rita has made me appreciate how good Michelle Ruff is as her. Really, the entire cast of Tales of Vesperia is dubbed fantastically.

I completely forget her name, but whoever did Melissa in FMP did Hot Blood (if a bit crazy) very well.Allison Keith, same woman that did Misato Katsuragi. Which fits because they're the same person only one's a pilot. I'm having trouble figuring out a SRWOG character who'd fit her though...maybe Ibis? Ibis voice sample (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ca1ItfQ82k0).

That's why I nominated him for the Machinery Children - he does ****ing psychopath much better than he does regular old antisocial kid, in my opinion.

But you will still not be able to unhear Shinji, because he has zero vocal range.

EDIT: Listening to some samples...Oh God, Rukia sounds exactly like how I hear Levi.

I see no arguments about my suggestion on the VA of Ji Adel Banel.
Look up the dubbed version of the fight between Yoh and Faust from Shaman King - They had to give Faust a different VA when he became a good guy because Sam Riegel sounded too nuts. :smalltongue: (You may know him as Viral, Emiya Shirou, and that Sound ninja from Naruto who fires shockwaves out of things in his hands)

Stephen Blum's range is wide enough that he can play multiple roles - Season 3 of Digimon is a good example (he played the head of a secret organisation, some random kid, and a cute monster).

Anyway, who wants to try editing clips of various lines together with SRW footage? :smalltongue: (Failing that, see if you can get Dan Green to shout "CHESTO!" at a convention)

You know, we really ought to have Amuro in here somewhere. Brad Swaile can do the deadpan dangerous voice (Setsuna, Light) as well as the irritating teen voice (Amuro, Quatre)...Kyosuke, perhaps? Or if he wanted to stick closer to his roots, one of the Alpha protagonists or Ryusei.

More Kyosuke candidates: Liam O' Brien (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liam_O%27Brien) and Chris Sabat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Sabat). Either could also do Shu Shirakawa.

Would Jennifer Hale (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jennifer_Hale) work for anything? Excellen maybe? She's done a lot of videogame work (though to be honest I associate her more with Totally Spies :smalltongue:).

My reasoning for Yuri Lowenthal as Masaki was this: the VA would also have to play Asakim. He's voiced both upbeat heroes and the king of emo (and, you know, his "Suzaku voice" resembles Masaki's)

Thanks to Knights of the Old Republic and Metal Gear Solid, I associate her mainly with stuck-up pseudo-British traitors. But then, off the top of my head, she's also been a classy badass knight (Baldur's Gate II) and an adorable, marginally-less-annoying-than-the-other-main-female-character computer programmer (Metal Gear Solid 2) with a totally different voice.

Discounting the last example, maybe she'd be good for Lamia? Badass, warrior woman, betrays people a lot but still sympathetic?

That could work pretty well actually. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuaD6cC5RpA)
