A Skewered Seer is born when a skilled diviner sees a vision so great and terrible that he curses the very second sight that let him see it, and blinds himself with silver pins in a powerful ritual that permanently removes his divinatory talents. However, upon death, many such diviners are reborn as Skewered Seers, and regain their second–but not their first–sight. Such beings are miserable and craven, though they will still perform divinations for those who can fulfill their twisted desires.
Spells
A Skewered Seer casts arcane spells as a 7th level Diviner. The DC of a Skewered Seer’s spells is 14 plus the spell’s level. It does not prepare spells from a spellbook. Instead, it can prepare any spell from the Sorcerer/Wizard spell list.

0th–detect magic (2), mage hand, read magic; 1st–identify, mage armor, magic missile, ray of enfeeblement, true strike; 2nd–detect thoughts, false life, mirror image, see invisibility, touch of idiocy; 3rd–clairaudience/clairavoyance, dispel magic, hold person (2); 4th–black tentacles, dimension door, scrying.
Look Into the Void (Su)
As a standard action, a Skewered Seer may remove the silver pins from its eyes. Doing so grants it a gaze attack, with a range of 60 ft. Any creature caught in the gaze that fails a DC 18 Will save becomes stunned for one round, as the seer’s gaze reveals a shocking secret to it, which soon fades from its mind. The save is Charisma based. While a seer has the silver pins removed from its eyes, it loses its blindsight ability.
Psionic Skewered Seers
Some Skewered Seers were clairsentients, rather than diviners, in life. They retain the whole of their psionic power. They have all the same abilities as a normal Skewered Seer, except as listed below.
