Good morning Playgrounders!
I'm hoping one of you good people is familiar with the process of preparing vellum (calfskin, not paper) for use. The production isn't what I'm needing, but the actual work by the calligrapher after the stretching and scraping and whatnot. I understand that there are a variety of steps, including a light sanding to accentuate the texture of the skin, but I'm having trouble finding a good explanation of totality.
