All hail Rich Berlew!

You know, I have just got to giver Rich Berlew the highest praise I can here for the current strip.

I've seen pedophile jokes make, and they were usually either funny but in poor taste or maybe inappropriate but funny, etc.

I honestly think the Rich has maybe made the first appropriate, funny and tasteful pedo joke I've ever seen. His bit about the choir of the damned being castrated pedos was funny, tasteful and fit into the subject at hand perfectly.

Can I get everyone reading this thread to give a salute to Rich for this? It's amazing that anyone can make a redo reff that's funny, tasteful and appropriate, but by God he's done it.

You've got a point there. Rich made a pedo joke but also punished them at the same time. Being forced to sing nonsense in "latin" is bad enough punishment, but when "that" happens to ensure that there is enough sopranoes (and every day, mind you,) you can laugh knowing that they're being tortured like they deserve.

To be fair, he never said they snipped them with *scissors*. They could be using blunt secateurs, or rusty nail clippers. Let your imagination run wild!

Well, I think we mostly agree that while there are lots of funny pedo jokes, kmost are in bad taste (but still funny) or inappropriate (But still funny) whereas this one was funny, in good taste and appropriate.
