Yo to the beach

I fell on a girl’s castle
She ran away in tears
Mother got mad
But that’s okay
Because I say Yo to the beach

I lost my shoes
Stepped on glass
Got salt in my eye
But that’s okay
Because I say Yo to the beach

Seagulls greet me
Because I say Yo to the beach

Lost my keys
Searched all day
Didn’t find
But that’s okay
Because I say Yo to the beach

It got dark
Icy winds, against my face
I got lost
But that’t okay
Because I say Yo to the beach
