Would it seem reasonable to add a "Shadow Origin" line to the Shadar-Kai stat block? Eladrin and Elves have Fey Origin and Dragonborn have Draconic Heritage, would it seem reasonable to add a similar thing to the Shadar-Kai? Their fluff seems to tie them almost inexorably to the Shadowfell, stating that they even live there.

I know there are some feats from the Forgotten Realms Player's Guide that give bonuses against Shadow creatures, but I don't see that as a significant reason to not tie the fluff with a bit of crunch.

Am I missing something here?

i personally think you're quite right to attach that line to the race. seems reasonable enough. i see no reason why it wasn't added except oversight. the race has a potential to be developed into somethign quite interesting. shame there is almost no fluff on it whatsoever... (the MM fluff realy isn't satisfactory).
