Hello Playgrounders. Welcome to the most deadly game in the playground.

Assassin, for those who do not already know, is a game of stealth. To play, you submit your name to the game master (myself), and are assigned the name of another player. Your job is to kill that player by posting *assassinates playgrounder x* below one of their posts. You must however, avoid tipping off whoever is trying to assassinate you.

How do I kill my target?
You can get kills in any thread but this one, but your kill must not disrupt the thread, your post has to be on topic. It will just have an extra line. :smallamused:

How do I get credit?
When you assassinate your victim, you will send me a pm with a link to the thread. I will be posting a list of the deceased on this thread. Then I will assign you their target, and the game will continue.

Can I only kill my target?
No, you may kill anyone playing. You will receive one point instead of two though, and will become fair game (worth two points) for everyone still in the game. If you kill someone not playing though, you lose one point.

How do we know who wins?
When only one person is left, they will be the winner, with an honorable mention to whoever has the most kills.

What if I think someone is cheating?
Send me a pm and ask me about it.

So it's the Murder Game? Except there's no jailing other people for murders, and it's horribly skewed because it's not limited to SMBG.

I really do suggest limiting to only SMBG, otherwise, it's going to get some people a little angry.

I'll give it back later, but Lupy specifically asked for the head of my next target, and hammers usually don't work well for head removal.

According to Lupy's post of the dead, ARK killed me, then you killed ARK and got my target, Horngeek. You then got Horngeek. Of course, you probably killed someone else just then.

Also, your predicted leader is off... It is someone else, and the round will be over rather quickly unless there is a very large twist.

Hmm, a game just like this (but with a few minor subtle differences) was invented several years ago. I forget who by.

The difference there was that the killing post had to be subtle. It strikes me that this game is a bit easy. You just find out when your target posts and then post below them.

Of course, back in those days you could change your displayed user name :smallbiggrin: I spent several weeks with a different avatar and different username. I didn't get assassinated once.

The other problem is that you can't just do a search and then assassinate. You have to have somthing in the post that is on topic (unless it's stabbity death or Kiss or Kill)
