The creature is about the size of a human, though stockier and slightly misshapen. His skin appears to be molten, and small points of fire appear in his hands. Patches of gold appear on his body, particularly on his chest.
Grothek is a bizarre creature. He was created as the child of unknown demons. He lives underground, sometimes living among dwarves, sometimes duergar, sometimes on his own. He is an amazing blacksmith. His armor and weapons are extremely sought after among those who spend time underground.

He smiths by throwing fire at the metal, and smashing it with his fists. He is prepared to make weapons and armor for those who will pay extreme amounts, or for free for those willing to talk to him about blacksmithing (Craft (Weaponsmithing) (DC 25). If they impress him, he might allow them to become his apprentice. Even if they attack him, Grothek prefers not to kill those who know about smithing: they will be deposited somewhere in the Underdark with no weapons or gear.

His cavern is about 50 feet wide, 100 feet wide, and 20 ft high. He has his smithy on the floor, but keeps his treasures up in a small cave above the far end of the cavern from the entrance, which allows him to see his cavern with concealment. He prefers to talk to potential customers from the high ground.

Grothek stands 6 feet tall and weighs 300 pounds. He speaks Common, Undercommon, Ignan, and Dwarven.

Combat
Grothek doesn't attack people unless they pose a threat to him. If adventurers try to get into his smithy, he will go to his treasure room, close the trapdoor, so they can't get to him and talk to them from there. If they attack him or try to steal something from him, he will attack, first using Fireball, then using his Flamethrow ability to attack whoever poses the biggest threat. If he is losing, he will grab the majority of his treasure and run out a secret exit.

Fireball (Su) Grothek can use fireball as the spell 3 times a day (Reflex save DC 16) (Con based).
Flamethrow (Su) Grothek can throw flames at will. This has a range increment of 40 feet, and maximum range 200 feet. Each does 2d6 + 3 damage (Grothek adds his Con bonus to the damage).

Molten Body (Su) Anyone Grothek touches or anyone who touches Grotherk takes 1d6 fire damage. Anyone who tries to grapple him takes 2d8 damage per round in a grapple. Any weapons that strike him must take a DC 12 Fort save or combust or be melted, as appropriate.

Skills Grothek gets a +5 racial bonus on Craft (Weapon smithing) and Craft (armor smithing) because of his firethrowing.

Thanks!

Hmm. I have a lot of artistic friends, and all are better artists than I. Also, the picture was taken with a webcam.

Oh well.
