I remember seeing a site that had a list of all D&D spells that could be organized by various criteria. I can find several of these now, but I remember one that let you do it by the books you had, like a checklist, i.e. I could limit it to just core + complete, etc. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I can't seem to find it now.
P.S. Does anyone know where I can find a list of monsters by environment?

You're probably thinking of http://www.emass-web.com/ which has since been taken down.

For Monsters by Enviorment, use one of the links off the SRD.

IMarvinTPA's Spell Search. (http://www.imarvintpa.com/dndLive/FindSpell.php)
It seems to be in good compliance with all of WotC's copyright and legalese stuff, so I don't think it is in danger, or inappropriate for linking on this board.
It's a very useful spell search- doesn't tell you entirely what the spell is, but it does give you a mini summary and its location. Quite handy when you suddenly need to find, say, all the spells with the chaos descriptor.
