I vote 520 for one reason. Mr. Scruffy scratches tramp.

520 for the return of Mr. Scruffy!

I was torn between 517 and 520, but I have to go with 517 for Haley's final line:

:haley:: I'm going out there to shove a magic flaming arrow up one of her orifices. If you have any preference about which one, I'm taking suggestions.

520. I got in trouble for making the picture of Belkar throwing Mr. Scruffy onto Tsukiko face my avatar I liked it so much.

I refuse to vote for a strip just because Belkar is awesome in it.

However, nothing at all prevents me from voting for a strip just because Mr. Scruffy is awesome in it. 520.

520. I really don't think this is going to be a close fight.

520, easy choice.

In light of Mr. Scruffy, may I make a suggestion that when we get close to the current strip that we hold off for a bit? Stay 50 strips behind, perhaps. To allow plot items to develop before we make our votes.

Btw, The_Void, I don't think you're allowed to clip out comic art for your avatar or anything else for that matter. You may want to check the forum rules. There are some that the Giant made I think that are allowed, though.

I'll go with 518.

520, for the return of the most awesomest cat in the universe.

Kaytara

519, because I like the dynamic in the strip, how everything quickly turns against Haley.

No contest, 520

518! Haley got blasted off-panel! (How will that be handled in the book?) Also, "Favored Enemy (Airborne Tramp)!

518. Good dialogue and a nice special effect.

David Argall

520. It's not really that superior to some of the others, but I think it has the edge.

Lupy

Aww man, this one is tough between 518 and 520, I'm going to have to say... 518 for the special effects.

516.
That undead's adorable.

I vote for 520 for the return of Mr. Scruffy, the most awesome house-cat, as Belkar's new animal companion being thrown "in someone's soft and unprotected face." Though 518 is good for Haley's statement about "favored enemy (Airborne Tramp)" and nearly beating Tsukiko.

520, for Mr. Scruffy, Evil as a job, and good dialogue throughout.

No contest really, the others weren't that funny, they just moved the plot forward.

To be frank, I found 516-519 underwhelming. 520 has nice banter, and is more amusing.

I vote for 520 for the "bluff check"

518, for (a) showing how awesome Haley is when she puts her mind to it; (b) the thrown-out-of-panel gag, and (c) "it's eight, not aargh", more wight funny cluelessness.

518 definatly. My rogue/wizard favours orb spells. (though he prefers sonic orbs because of (345)

Definitely 520. Who can vote against Mr. Scruffy? And, angry house cats to the face are always hilarious.

520.

Reason? Oh, it's just the fact that Belkar has apparently decided to take Weapon Focus: Mr. Scruffy.

Cannot vote against that.

520. I love the dialogue, and nobody is cooler than Mr. Scruffy. Yupyup.

Oh, and Silverraptor is right. He is an official assistant. He can officially close the polls, but I'm the one couting the votes and opening new polls.

Ooooo... kay. This is new. I guess the Sticks Awards really have become serious business (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SeriousBusiness).

Yendor-gate doesn't seem to matter that much, though, because Belkar 5:20 (or is it Mr. Scruffy 5:20?) just whooped your ass. The only thing my analysis really got wrong was that 516, rather than being a runt, was one of only three strips to get multiple votes.

Some better jokes next round, with the domination puns in 521, the secret door joke in 522, 523 has Belkar being Belkar, Haley pwning Belkar in 524, and Eugene pwning Roy in 525. 523 might be the runt, and 522 is the only strip with a shot at challenging 524 unless the Belkar crowd comes out in force, and even then they're likely to split the vote (though 521 could be a dark horse).
