Blind Arbiter’s Gaze
Cost: 4m
Mins: Archery 5, Essence 4
Type: Supplemental
Keywords: Combo-OK

Prerequisite Charms: Accuracy Without Distance

When his eyes might fail him, or his hand might falter on the bowstring, a Chosen of Sol Invictus can still claim victory. This Charm tethers an arrow in flight to the Essence of its intended victim, causing the quarrel to be inevitably drawn to its mark. This Charm may supplement any Archery attack. The arrow or projectile will seek out its victim even if there is no straight line it can follow–it will turn around corners, pursue its victim down hallways, or even pass through keyholes or under doors to seek him out. The Solar must still be capable of seeing his target, or at least know his location. In addition, the arrow cannot be escaped by its victim, and any attack supplemented by this Charm becomes undodgeable.

Impossible Accuracy Fortune
Cost: –
Mins: Archery 5, Essence 4
Type: Permanent
Keywords: None
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: There Is No Wind

The Solar Exalted of the Dawn Caste embody martial excellence, surpassing all other lesser warriors. Were he to fight in the midst of a hurricane, or while suffering lethal wounds, or even with his eyes plucked out, the arrows of Sol Invictus’s Chosen do not fail. This Charm permanently enhances the Lawgiver’s There Is No Wind Charm. Any attack the Solar supplements with that Charm now suffers no penalties at all, including wound and multiple action penalties.

Far-Assaulting Solar Judgement

Type: Supplemental

Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Accuracy Without Distance

No foe escapes the Lawgiver’s wrath, not even if he should flee to the very ends of the world. Their arrows arc across the very heavens themselves, scattering eagles and worrying constellations before they descend with the force of a fallen star. This Charm supplements a single Archery attack. The attack is made without a limit to its range or any range penalties–it could literally be used to make an attack against anywhere in Creation. The Solar need not know the exact location of his victim–as long as the Lawgiver has seen him before, he can cause the arrow to automatically fly to the target’s location, no matter where he may be. No mundane barriers prove any obstacle to the arrow in its pursuit, as it passes through even stone walls in its momentous flight.

Nation-Shattering Justice of the Heavens
Cost: – (10m, 1wp or 60m, 5wp)
Mins: Archery 6, Essence 6
Type: Permanent
Keywords: Obvious
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: Far-Assaulting Solar Judgement

Under the judgement of an angered Lawgiver, armies fall and cities topple. This Charm permanently enhances the Lawgiver’s Far-Assaulting Solar Judgement Charm. Whenever he supplements an attack with it, he may spend an additional ten motes and an additional point of willpower. If he does, then the arrow he fires bursts in a golden nimbus of essence, forming into thousands of arrows of lucent essence. The arrows rain down on an area with a radius of (Essence x 10) yards. The Solar can target any area in Creation, even if he has not seen it or been there with this attack–he need merely aim his bow in the direction, decide how far he wishes his arrows to fly, and shoot. However, the area he fires upon must be at least ten miles away from his current location–any closer, and the modified effect simply cannot be used. The Solar rolls a single attack pool for the entire cloud of arrows, which is applied to every individual and structure within the area. As with the normal function of Far-Assaulting Solar Judgement, mundane barriers or being inside a structure offers no protection. The swarm of arrows is impossible to dodge or parry by any mundane means–each character targeted by the attack is treated as having Dodge and Parry DV’s of 0. However, Charms or other effects that allow an attack to be perfectly dodged or parried can still be used to negate the attack.

At Essence 8, this Charm enhances Far-Assaulting Solar Judgement even further. By spending an additional 60 motes and an additional five points of Willpower, the Lawgiver can attack an area with a radius of (Essence) miles. The targeted area must be at least one hundred miles away from the Solar for this added effect to be used.

Radiant Demonslayer Quarrel

Prerequisite Charms: Phantom Arrow Technique

The Lawgivers suffer no unrighteousness before their sight, unleashing the fullness of their wrath on the servants of darkness. This Charm elevates even a humble arrow to a demon-slaying weapon of lofty virtue. This Charm may supplement any Archery attack. If the attack inflicts any levels of damage, this Charm inflicts an additional number of levels of lethal damage equal to the Lawgiver’s Essence. If the target of the attack is a creature of darkness, this damage is aggravated.

Scourging Flight of the Enraged Bumblebee
Cost: 2m
Mins: Archery 1, Essence 1
Type: Simple
Keywords: Combo-OK, Obvious
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Any Archery Excellency

Not all paths of martial prowess are as straightforward as mere excellence in archery or swordsmanship. This Charm, harkening back to the First Age itself, embodies the principle that, at times, a true warrior simply must be able to shoot venomous snakes and ichneumon hunters from his bow (which became all the more potent when the animal so fired was actually a shapeshifted Lunar). This power allows the Lawgiver to make an Archery attack using any small animal with Strength ●● or less, such as a coral snake, ichneumon hunter, or raiton as ammunition. The animal must either submit willingly to the Solar’s attempts to nock it on a bow (possibly after being persuaded with the Friendship with Animals Approach Charm), or else the Solar must have clinched it. The animal is fired as if it were normal ammunition, with a base damage equal to the highest base damage of its natural attacks. If the animal’s natural attacks bear a secondary effect, such as a coral snake’s venom or an ichneumon hunter’s egg implantation, the attack carries the same effects. If the animal is actually a shapeshifted Lunar, a familiar, or a similar being capable of using Charms, they cannot use any of their own Charms, even reflexive ones, to augment the attack. If they are under the effect of any Charms that enhance their natural attacks, such as Claws of the Silver Moon, those benefits still apply, but a Lunar shapeshifted into snake form could not use his First Dexterity Excellency to buy extra dice for the attack. This animal takes an amount of damage equal to the number of 1’s rolled on the attack roll, which it may soak as normal. This Charm is not compatible with other Archery Charms that allow a single projectile to be duplicated or split into many, such as Rain of Feathered Death or Nation-Shattering Justice of the Heavens.

Swiftly-Descending Yeddim Methodology
Cost: – (25m, 1wp)
Mins: Archery 6, Essence 6
Type: Permanent
Keywords: Obvious
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: Scourging Flight of the Enraged Bumblebee

It was perhaps this Charm that dealt out the strangest casualties in the Primordial War. While it is a technique of great power, the unorthodox nature of its execution was responsible for many a Primordial staring bewilderedly as a Tyrant Lizard whooshed through the air towards them. This Charm permanently enhances the Lawgiver’s Scourging Flight of the Enraged Bumblebee Charm. By spending an additional 25 motes and one point of willpower, the Lawgiver can use it to fire any animal up to the size of a Yeddim. The animal must still be either willing or clenched (in the First Age, Solars with this Charm would train herds of domesticated Yeddim or Tyrant Lizards to be used as ammunition). When making the ranged attack, the Lawgiver may treat his Strength as being equal to that of the animal he is firing, and ignore the maximum Strength rating of his weapon. The range of his weapon is also multiplied by ten, to accommodate the increased size of his ammunition. If the Lawgiver fires an animal with a Strength rating greater than 10, then his attack is likely to simply kill his foe outright–they must roll (Stamina + Resistance), at a difficulty equal to the Solar’s Essence. If they fail, they are outright crushed under the weight of the attack. No matter how large an animal is fired, the Archery attack only effects one enemy–unless attacking a mass combat unit, it is impossible to crush multiple enemies under a Yeddim without using other Charms such as Arrow Storm Technique.

That is horrible.

Horribly funny!
