First Wave

Anybody else seen this alien-hunting science fiction series? I finished it recently, and I liked it. I even created a wiki (http://firstwave.wikia.com/) for it, contributions would be very much appreciated.

I didn't get into it. The only thing I remember about it is that it starred ex porn star Traci Lords. Hot!

I was frequently annoyed that the Gwa muddled around through one weekly scheme or another with nothing more than a hint that they had any sort of overarching plan. Going to take over the world, baw baw, must experiment, baw baw, have to kick the mandatory puppy of the week, baw baw baw. Seriously, they are as bad as Cylons... only they actually had a semi-deep and not too trippy backstory. I took it as a metaphor for the formation of Israel.

It was, however, carried by its two main protagonists. They made the damn thing entertaining. If you replaced either one of them, the whole show would have crumbled into dry pap overnight.

Is this first wave is the old tv series which got the protagonist trying to save the world with nostradamus' propechy? Huh, why now, after all those years?

I remember quite liking it, but I remember more about that time as the time where I also regularly watched Odyssey 5 (the one with earth exploding and a group of scientist sent back in time), and I remember more about Odyssey 5 since I like it better. And both were unfinished.

First Wave wasn't really unfinished, but the finale was kinda... unsatisfying.
