NPC idea.

I'm thinking of putting in an odin/elan type character and a thog type character in my campaign. will this turn out well or be a spectacular disaster? my group while they can be serious like's a good joke and I think characters like that would be funny.

My NPCs usually have a distinct note of some kind and this can be a humoristic note.

I found out, that players usually don't remember who Halurion Brightsteel was, but they remember the guy who could never sit still, always walked around and always started his sentences twice. (Yes I walk around the table and actually start every sentence twice.)

Sure, this is an extreme example, but making an NPC habe a humoristic note would probably only add to your gaming expirience. I mean, walk around our world, its full of humor, irony, sarcasm, zynisism and just plain idiocy.
