I mentioned a couple of times here and there that I work for a webcomic. I figured now would be a good as time as any to talk about it.

Xylia is a Fantasy Setting webcomic featuring high quality color art and a complex story. (DD snark fans, I promise you the arms make sense here!)

It centers on Claude, a man who is 900 years old. Every time he dies he is reborn as a babe with no knowledge of his past lives. And his search for Xylia, a Faerie he has some sort of bond with. There are of course evil Faeries and good Faeries and something greater afoot. Action, magic, and romance all abounds.

Sample pages:

Xylia updates on Mondays, and on some Thursdays when a donation goal is achieved.

Also, just read through the prologue - very nice story. Unlike a lot of webcomics I see you actually get the story moving. So I'm definatly going to keep reading.

Thanks for the compliments on Xylia, I'll be sure to pass them on to Barb!

Keeping the story moving has always been a priority to Barb, and it can be hard to do. So I'm sure she'll be glad to hear that!

I encountered this a while back (and by a while I'm talking well over a year). Can't say I found it worth sticking with at the time. Possibly due to similarities with another comic, which I believe was an earlier attempt by the same creator (the name of the comic escapes me).

EDIT: Talismen. That was it.

Ah yes.

Talismen was a comic Barb co-created with another person. She had to discontinue work on it due to professional reasons. Thankfully they are reasons that don't have any bearing on Xylia.

The art has similarity, this is true. But the story is completely different.
