By my model, they are not infinite. Rather, they are very finite in the fifth dimension (the fourth spacial dimension) and nigh-infinite in all other directions, as is the material plane. The planes are simply sections of the universe that are separated from the material plane by location on the fifth dimensional axis.

IF you accept that the universe is infinite or nigh infinite, then this is the only logical conclusion if you accept my theory.

That means each and every plane would be the size of the planet (Flatworld or Avbaroy). The Shadow plane would have one more dimension than the normal universe, and each plane would be deposited at the same location except in the last dimension.

I thought we had already accepted my model for the planes, which clearly tells us that the planes are regions of the universe exactly the same as the region of the universe perceivable by us.

There is a clear contradiction between your shadow/astral plane model and my "file drawer" model.

Furthermore, in my model, Baator, Mechanus, and the like are not planes. They are, rather, planets on the planes.

Another option is adding to the hosts file if you run windows. With that you can block your computer from connecting to any specified website.

As I understand it, this is our plan:
Salmon and Threeshades attack the Shades, possibly using some sort of power from Salmon's talisman
They possibly blind the Shades
The Shades charges towards them
Either they dodge or Leeroy changes the direction of the charge
The Shades crash through door
Either Dekopin repairs the door, or the portal closes
The Shades are kicked out of the stable bubble into the Plane of Incarnum proper, and dissolve there, gone for good.

Threeshades said he was making a comic over a week ago, but we've heard nothing else from her. And as I've heard nothing from Salmon, who's up for deciding what his talisman does?

Yeah, the Spooks are supposed to be pretty resistant to damage, considering the stuff their made of is fairly similar to smoke, an Arrow would probably pass through two of them, but it wouldn't kill them.
An Eldritch Blast could probably hurt one, but they are pretty tough, and resistant to magic.
Generally, plenty of things can hurt them, but at this stage I'd like them to put up a fight. I wouldn't mind you taking out standard issue Machinist mooks though, but let me do some stuff with the Spooks.

Though there are two more of them lurking around somewhere ,perhaps immediately behind your character...

Also, you'll need an explanation for how you got inside the Fortress-Factory.

Somebody takes you by surprise. The Gatling gun needs time to spin up. You don't have that time. You start spinning it, and at the same time swing the edge of the bayonet at your enemy. Then you get to start firing.

Jai'Ko isn't exactly rational. Keep that in mind when contemplating why you would put a bayonet on a machine gun.

Though we are still thinking exactly what situation to put Jai'Ko in when he finally runs out of ammunition. We still don't know where he gets it from in the first place.

Besides the fact that Jai'Ko is generally mounted on his motorbike, he could use the bayonet on the first row of targets, leaving more ammo to dakka the ones behind and thus preventing them from becoming the new first row.

A bayonet is also useful for stealth (he probably won't use it for that though) and picking your teeth.

Fleeing is an option. If I remember correctly, you're in a hallway.

That works. After a powerful Gust, it would probably take them a minute or two to re-condense (Getting spread out like that makes it tough to focus on pulling yourself together, so re-condensing happens slowly.

Brain doesn't use wizard spells, he uses psionic powers, which I believe you can cast without hands. I may be wrong, though.
