Well, everyone knows 3.5e has some immense balance issues. Many have also built their own house rules and such to address these issues for a more enjoyable game experience.
If you're interested in balanced 3.5, I'd like to point you towards the following project:

It's a cross-forum link and much work on balancing the whole system has already been done. It's still a work in progress so if you're interested in dropping your two cents, it'd be most welcome. If you just want the results, that's of course fine too.
Just giving a heads-up for those who don't read Brilliant Gameologists, but are still fervent 3.5 players.
