Another in my cancelled series of monk weapon prestige classes. (Crane- tripping quarterstaff user, Mantis- kama disarming user, Snake- precise strike siangham user) This one is the Disciple of the Tiger, who uses skirmish and pounce in conjunction with his sai.

Disciple of the Tiger

These martial artists have trained extensively using the Sai. By mimicking the ferocity and tenacity of the tiger, the three pronged daggers become their deadly claws. They fight savagely by running down their foes. Most disciples are monks who have decided to focus on using Sai, rather than their fists, as their primary means of heightening their physical prowess. But there have also been many cases of mercenaries, fighters and barbarians traveling to monasteries to train using these unique, exotic weapons.

Tiger’s Defense (Ex): When wearing no armor and using one or more Sai, the Disciple of the Tiger gains a bonus point to his AC for every 10 feet of his movement speed. He retains this armor bonus against touch attacks, but not when flatfooted. This stacks with the monk’s AC Bonus.

Skirmish (Ex): If the Disciple of the Tiger has moved more than 10 feet during his turn, he adds +1d6 damage to his attacks. This damage improves by 1d6 every odd level.

Pounce (Ex): The Disciple of the Tiger may make a full attack action on a charge. He may only perform a pounce once per encounter.

Fury of the Tiger (Ex): The Disciple gains the fighter feat Weapon Specialization for the Sai

Claw Swipes (Ex): When wearing no armor, as long as the Disciple of the Tiger is wielding two Sai, he is treated as if he had the Two-Weapon Fighting feat.

Ki Weapon (Su): The Disciple of the Tiger can transfer his Ki energies into his Sai, but cannot be encumbered by armor while doing so. A Disciple of the Tiger can, if he had these abilities before entering the prestige class, make Stunning Fist, Ki Strike and Quivering Palm and all other unarmed special attacks using his Sai. Furthermore, he gains bonus damage to all his Sai attacks based on his unarmed strike damage before. If his unarmed strike damage was 1d6, he gains a +1 to damage, 1d8:+2, 1d10+3, 2d6:+4 and 2d8 or more:+5.

Improved Claw Swipes (Ex): When wearing no armor, as long as the Disciple of the Tiger is wielding two Sai, he is treated as if he had the Improved Two-Weapon Fighting feat.

Eyes of the Tiger (Ex): The Disciple gains the fighter feat Greater Weapon Focus for the Sai.

Fast Movement (Ex): The Disciple of the Tiger’s base speed increases by 10 feet.

Way of the Tiger (Ex): The Disciple gains the fighter feat Greater Weapon Specialization for the Sai.

Pounce Mastery (Ex): The Disciple of the Tiger can perform pounces at will, instead of only once per encounter.

Greater Claw Swipes (Ex): When wearing no armor, as long as the Disciple of the Tiger is wielding two Sai, he is treated as if he had the Greater Two-Weapon Fighting feat.
