Continuous Spell[Metamagic]
Benefit
A continuous spell has the same effect as an unmodified spell in all aspects, except when the spell would end because of the duration. A continuous spell, when it would normally end, would instead expend the spell energy of an identical spell, although it does not have to be a continuous spell. This has the effect of resetting the duration only, as if the spell had just been cast. This does not reset any other modifiers. A spell slot of one spell level higher than the base spell may be substituted for the spell energy if it is of the same school, or two spell levels higher if it is not of the same school. A continuous spell is able to be dismissed even if it is not normally dismissable, and the spell ends if for any reason other than the duration running out, or if there is no avaliable spell energy. Continuous spells may not be any spell with a duration of permanent or instaneous. A continuous spell uses a spell slot of 2 levels higher than the base spell.
