I vote for 542. Go O-Chul!!!

Kurald Galain
2009-04-24, 10:34 AM
O-chul has a constitution of 542. Contains high amounts of awesome!

Kaytara
2009-04-24, 10:58 AM
I like the dialogue in 544, but O-Chul's stunt is simply too awesome.
So, 542.

The Blackbird

542, O-Chul is win.

EDIT: I've looked at the next five to be picked after these, I think it's gonna be hard to choose.

Killer Angel

The "escape" of O-chul is EPIC, and I know it will rightfully win... but we must also give the right consideration to the acid-breathing shark and the pun on sourcebooks, so, at least for the record, i vote 541.

Itamarcu

of course its 542!!!!!
even though 541 is almost as good...

545: The second group is the control. We'll push them off the other side.

Assassin89
2009-04-24, 03:04 PM
542 due to the lampshading in the title, and being one of the more action packed comics.

543. much better humor.

the winner may end up as 542 as spectacular, but it is not what the comic is about. I'll take 541 for second

542, no real contest.

I vote for 542 because of Xykon using a cantrip to take out someone dipped in an acid tank

Ooh, an excellent group of choices. It's tough. I like the interaction between O-Chul and Redcloak in 544 and 545, but also that between Redcloak and the rest of Team Evil in 543, and I don't think I need to elaborate on how good 541 and 542 are.

Hmm, all things considered, I'll go with 543.

543 for the awesomely adorable Tsukiko.

Chronos

545: The second group is the control. We'll push them off the other side.In any other set, I'd have to agree and vote with Redcloak being a huge nerd. But O-Chul in 542 is just way too goodass to vote for anything else.

542 is just too awesome. 545 is pretty good though.

545. A good use of the scientific method in a high magic fantasy for teh win!

542 the only comic that makes me like paladins.

Taekwondodo
2009-04-26, 05:39 AM
541 or 542. at a push I would say 541.

545, due to Redcloak's scientific experiment and the control group.

Griever3216

I loved the roaches' comment about the acid-breathing shark in 541, but 543 had more amounts of funny:

Xykon: Mr Green Genes
Xykon: He's like the energizer bunny, a Rollex watch, and Jackie Chan all mixed together.
Xykon: Those little suckers can fight, heh heh.
Xykon: Surprise me.

However, my most favourite strip is 542 hands down. It just steals the thunder from all the other strips so easily. With a minimum amount of words I may add.

Janmorel

Definitely 543.
Xykon and Redcloak resume their Evil Odd Couple Schtick, complete with demon roach commentary, and the "stay in the box" bit still makes me giggle.

This group is definelty one of the ,ost badass of tejh bunch. we see the levels of xylon's evil, the sheer batman level badasery of just ONE saphire gaurdsmen, and we see just how much of a magnifecnt bastard and a chessmaster that Redcloak is, but the badassolymipcs on 543 did it for me. so i'm goimg fro the Harshad.

I vote for the awesome escape (attempt) of 542. Later in the group is good plot exposition, but its highlight is O'Chul's razor, in the next bunch.

I'm not going to say it.

No, really. It was okay with Belkar, but now it would just start going out of hand. It's starting to get a little tired even with Belkar.

I mean it. I'm not doing that sort of thing anymore. Leave me alone.

<sigh>

O-Chul 5:42 says I just whooped your ass.

Despite a move to challenge from 543 (I expected 545 to be more of a challenge), and with absolutely zero votes from 544 (I expected 541 to be the runt).

Next round really could be tougher, with the lampshade hanging in 546, Redcloak's planning, nine sides, and Reanimated Gladiators in 548, and 549 and 550 to varying extents. Any strip has at least a chance although the runt is going to be either 547, 549, or 550. My personal feeling is that 546 is the favorite but who knows what's going to happen.
