It´s in short terms, an exotic greatsword.

I think of this sword as a little heavier and thickier thant the regular greatsword, requiring a whole bodywork to wield it correctly - that´s why Dreihander (Three-handed).

important: it's NOT a cloud or what's-his-name-roth very huge sword with reach.

The weapon is harder to wield, but that gives him an extra edge on some situations.

The Dreihänder
Two-handed melee Exotic weapon
2d6 damage, 20/x3 critical, slashing
+2 on disarming
75 PO, 12lbs.

how does it look like?

2d6, 20/x3 is a bit underpowered for a Medium Two-Handed Exotic. If you want a scaled-up Bastard Sword (what is to the Greatsword as the Bastard Sword is to the Longsword), see the Fullblade; it's in the A&E guide (I think), and Sword and Fist (I know); those are 3.0 sources, but weapons need minimal conversion (Tiny or Small to Light, Medium to One-Handed, Large to Two-Handed, and small damage values have to be added)

I love the name.

I can see why you changed the critical. 18-20 doesn't make much sense, and 19-20 x3 is unheard of for good reasons. But a x3 crit makes it mechanically like a battleaxe, and not an even-bigger sword.

Come to think of it, the disarming bonus seems like a precision thing, instead of the work of a big giant sword.

Why didn't you just go with 2d8, 19-20?

Or, 2d6, 19-20, and +2 to damage rolls when sundering?

19-20/x3 is equivalent to 17-20/x2, or to 20/x5 criticals. It's not entirely impossible, but it is quite rare.

I'd give it 2d8, 19-20/x2, and give a +2 or +4 bonus on disarming. Disarming rules give a +4 if your weapon is 2 handed, and a +4 for each size larger you are. You already get a +4 for the two handed, but you're not actually a size larger so +2 seems best.

Baisically all I said is: use a fullblade, and fullblades should get a +2 to disarm cause they're big.

Apparently this weapon seems geared to disarming... that's kind of wierd. Maybe give it some bonus to Sundering too...

Seventy five pounds? Dubble-yew-tee-eff?

Make it fifteen, 2d8, 19-20, and a +2 on disarming.

That should keep it balanced with the Goliath Greathammer thing.
