Doppelganger change shape rules

I wanted to make a doppelganger fighter and I was wondering if the change shape rule applies to size related abilities, specifically the powerful build racial trait. I know that they don't get things like resistance to posion or stonecunning, but powerful build is directly related to the size and strength of the race. The size is imitatted(sp) and the strength bonus is equal to both of the races I know that get this feature, the Half-Giant and the Goliath.

For that matter, neither does Change Shape change your ability scores, as you seem to be thinking.

Or do Dopplegangers get +Str? I've never checked, because that's such a secondary concern for them.

They do; +4 Str IIRC, and +2 to basically every other attribute.
