This one's a two-fer!

It so happens that two awesome women in GitP share a birthday.

The first is the lurvely moderator, Alarra, who this day turns <WHAP!> ... 21... again. :smalleek: [mwa~!]

The other is the equally alluring and potent advisor from the RW&A threads, Serpentine.

Best of birthday wishes to you both. Here's hoping that those around you make today memorable for you.

A very happy birthday to both of you.

...I'd be less generic, but... um... honestly, I never know what to say on people's birthdays. >.>

Much congratulation on our twenty-one year old Mod Alarra! Yay!
The "Happy 21st" banner may be getting a bit worn out, though. You might want to replace it.

And a happy Whatever-st to our Awesome Seprentine! I swear, I keep forgetting how old you are. >.>
May the xeno Marine biology treat you well today.

Happy Birthday to the both of you. I was going to make a thread, but someone in another time zone got it. :smalltongue:

Happy 21st? Birthday to our friendliest terrifying moderator. (Is that in any way accurate? I had always pictured you as one of the oldest people here. But apparently, maybe not. I'm sorry.)

Happy (23rd?) Birthday to Serpentine. I think you are the single most amazing playgrounder I know. I hope you've enjoyed this year and will the next.

Here are cakes for the both of you:

Psst. He said "21... again" for a reason. You know, a lady and her age?

EDIT: I got so busy snarking that I forgot to say...

Happy Birthday!

Well, I guess someone here on the forums needs to go to bed now so he can wake up early in order to make his wife breakfast in bed. :smallwink:

In any event, congratulations on surviving, Ladies. Even though you had no chance and were told to make your time. :smalltongue:

My snake cake doesn't work :smallfrown:

Well, that's weird. 'larra wasn't 21 even when I first got here.

...though I keep forgetting what she actually was.

Happy birthday mommy! And Serpie!

Psst. He said "21... again" for a reason. You know, a lady and her age?

Somehow I missed that implication on the first reading as well. But then, I also somehow missed facebook telling me it was her birthday, despite the fact I noticed Serp's. :smallconfused:

Happy birthday to you both.

It gets creepier the older you get.

Like, really creepy, eventually. Then out-and-out impossible.

EDIT: It's so funny, we're in such a rush to get to 21, and then once we get there, we never want to leave...

I can't wait to get to 21. I'll enjoy the whooshing sound it'll make as it passes me by.

Legal drinking age of 18, huzzah!

19 and no hangovers yet. I think I'll handle the whooshing pretty well.

Good morning Baltimore?

WHY DO YOU HAVE GRANDCHILDREN!?

I think (since my conjectures seem to be going so well in this thread) it's a reference to how long Alarra has been here. Seeing as how (according to join dates) she has been here a year longer than even the vaunted St. Jude and Rawhide.

From my vaguely hazy memories (and with all hopes of not stepping on any toes), Zeb has actual biological grandchildren, but dear Alarra does not.

That's correct. I'm a grandma by marriage. I don't even have any kids of my own yet, although the first one will be here soon.
