Concuplasms are unique empathic beings. Rather than simply sensing the desires and emotions of others, they feed on them–a Concuplasm literally becomes what those around it wish it to be. A Concuplasm looks different to each person, seeming to be whatever they wish it to be. A child desperate for a friend would see a valiant companion, while a bloodthirsty monster hunter would see a hideous beast. Only other Concuplasms and those under the effects of a true seeing spell can see the creature’s true form–a totally featureless humanoid, with pure white skin. Concuplasms seek out those with strong desires, and attempt to form strong emotional bonds–either of love or hatred–with them.
Touch of Desire (Su)
Any creature struck by a Concuplasm’s slam momentarily becomes engrossed by its own greatest desire, magnified by the Concuplasm’s touch. If it fails a DC 16 Will save, it is fascinated for 1d6 rounds. The save is Charisma based.
Psi-Like Abilities
3/day–detect psionics, empathy, psionic charm (DC 14), telempathic projection (DC 14); 1/day–detect hostile intent, read thoughts (DC 15)
Body of Desire (Su)
A Concuplasm can draw power from the desire of others. If a creature within 60 ft. of it actively wishes for the Concuplasm to be better at something–a child who wants his Concuplasm guardian to be a tough defender, or a warrior who wants to face a strong opponent–the Concuplasm gets a +2 bonus to an ability score that corresponds to that desire–Constitution in the child’s case, Strength in the warrior’s case, for example. The total of the bonuses a Concuplasm receives in this way may not exceed +6.
