Primal - Used by mammals. Beings that speak primal include wolves, foxes, bats, mice, and cows. Humans are the exception to this, but druids may learn Primal as a bonus language.

Binary - Used by constructs. Beings that speak binary include warforged, golems, and other mechanical things. It is impossible for other races to grasp the subtleness of binary, so no race that is not the Construct or Living Construct subtype may speak Binary unless under spells that allow speaking in other languages.

When I've allowed druids to take animal languages I've broken them down into catagories (canine, feline, primate, etc).
Binary for constructs seems odd to me in pre-modern times. I would think that magically constructed beings would tend to just speak the language of their creator. Besides who would want to create 'life' andthen have it speaking a language that they can't.

The constructs have evolved the use of Binary since creation, and have passed it on.

Primal I'm still a bit shakey on, seems a little like Druidic.
