Rawhide: I know two of those straight off (rambutans (is that the same as a lychee?) and dragonfruit), and I recognise the mangosteens. With all these fruit pictures, I'm hanging out to see one that will help me identify the fruit tree some friends used to have... That's a persimmon, right? We've got those in the US, too, or at least in the South. We used to have a big persimmon tree on our property, before the government cut it down and built a road where it used to be.
