Deathtongue

Despite the work of necromancers, death is still a deep mystery to many. For a small few, they feel that the best way to learn about dead is to ask those who have 'lived' though it. Thus, they train themselves to speak with the dead. Deathtongues command respect among vast groups of the undead, making allies with vampire clans and helping in exorcism. These interesting few are usually Sorcerors or Clerics, putting their already potent charismatic abilities to good use.

Detect Undead
As per the spell, a deathtongue always knows where undead lurk.

Undead Empathy
A deathtongue can improve the attitude of a mindless undead creature. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check to improve the attitude of a person. The deathtongue rolls 1d20 and adds twice his deathtongue level and his Charisma modifier to determine the undead empathy check result.

To use undead empathy, the deathtongue and the mindless undead must be aware of each other, which means that they must be within 30 feet of one another under normal visibility conditions. Generally, influencing an undead in this way takes 1 minute, but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time.

The deathtongue can also use this ability to influence a sentient undead with an Intelligence score, but he takes a -4 penalty on the check.

Death Leader
Deathtongue class levels count twice when determining the maximum number of undead the deathtongue can control through spells or rebuking.

Death Command
Add the listed number as a bonus to your Undead Leadership score for attracting undead followers and cohorts. You take an equal penalty to attracting living ones. You still face the normal restrictions for cohorts. Any extra followers you gain must be undead.

Commune with Death
You may use the following spells a total of times per day as listed (CwD 3/day allows you to use three CwD SLA per day total, not three times each): Speak with Undead, Command Undead (3 rounds per class level), Deathwatch, Halt Undead

Death's Ally
Add the listed number to all Cha-dependent skills when using them on undead.

Death's Chosen Tongue
When communicating with the undead, you/they speak as if affected by the Tongues spell. Only you and other Deathtongues can understand.
