I call this build the Streaker due to that fact the character never uses armor and equipment or even spells. She can run into every fight butt naked and kick ass.

Yeah, there's an easier way. It's called vow of poverty. At level 4, you can exist in -50 to 140 degree temperatures without taking any harm from the environment. I made a gnome druid with this feat and he walked around nude 'cept for a ribbon tied around his, well, trouser titan.

I once had a paladin who was a paladin of a Goddess whose aspects where fertility, love, nurture, etc. One of the tenets that came up was the ability to dance nude on certain full moons. Yes, I know, really really silly sounding. But still, it somehow worked there.

anyway, one of the times when I was doing my err... ritualistic streaking, I was besieged by a bunch of rogues who want to take revenge on me.

thank god for Divine Might, smite evils and my CHA bonus, I was able to punch all of them into unconsciousness. I also smote one of them with a rock I picked up and threw at him. (the rock, incidentally, later become something I just kept with me and it eventually got the moniker "perfect skipping stone", which the GM, just for ****s and giggles, called it a masterwork rock)

I like the idea. It could open for interesting situations. Of course, such a girl (or boy) would likely be a bit of a ditz when it comes to stuff like cities and normal social interaction, but all the funnier.

I also definately like that you've made it work in combat as well.

The only problem might be to convince him/her to join an aventuring party. Why would she want to leave her forest?

You could add steadfast determination to increase that will save.
But yeah very cool. :)

Isn't there an inherent problem with having VoP and being a Forsaker? To destroy items, Forsaker has to first get his hands on them, and the Vow forbids him from doing that.

Not exactly. You just can't keep them. If you just defeat an enemy and destroy it's itens right away, you are in the clear. You just can't carry some rings and daggers to destroy every week to rechard your powers.
Although, since you technically is not using them, you could still carry them.
However, if you do keep itens to destroy them, to recharge your powers, you are using it.
So, just defeat bad guy, destroy itens, walk away.

False.

Vow of Poverty explicitly states that the VoP'd character's share has to go to charity.

Being Female and nude would force a dc 40 will saving throw against a gaze attack for male humanoids, dc 25 for male giants, dc 20 for celestials, dc 35 for fiends, and dc 30 for male true dragons.

To answer a couple of questions

Couple of Reasons for leaving the forest.

1. If after she saves an adventuring group they asked her to help them with a quest she would be more then happy too.

2. If goblin or the like burned down her forest. She would gladly team up with anyone going after them.

Their is a bit of confusion on the VoP forsaker issue. Forsakers dislike magic as such do not use it. However the only ability of theirs tied to the destruction of magic is their damage reduction. This is neatly covered by VoP damage reduction.

Also, I have to point out that, while yes, it would be slightly distracting, I doubt it would actually cause anything more than shaken for most people. It's something awesome, but not worth dying to watch.

In a good way, as opposed to the So Bad It's Good of the BoEF.I object to that. Yes, the artwork in the BoEF is terrible, but the fluff is mostly good, and a good chunk of the crunch is acceptable. There's some issues(Metaphysical Spellshaper), but things like the Voyeristic Seer are perfectly reasonable in power level.

Yes, but the BoEF doesn't have Power Word: Orgasm.Orgasmic Vibrations, Sorc/Wiz 4, Mind affecting, Will negates, 1 round/level. Target counts as Dazed for the duration, Conc check to cast, few other things.

Not sure about the other, though. Sounds scary.

Heliomance
2009-05-27, 07:09 PM
Power Word: Orgasm, Sor/Wiz 7, no save, Conjuration (Creation), creature with Con score <10 stunned for 3d6 rounds, 10<=Con score<20 stunned for 2d6 rounds, Con score >=20 stunned for 1d6 rounds. Being hit or harmed immediately ends the effect. Besides, haviong it as a power word is just cooler.

As for Prismatic Chastity Belt, it's exactly what it sounds like. Attempting to have sex with someone under the effects of the spell will subject your pride and joy to the full effects of Prismatic Wall.

In that situation, I'd probably just try to ignore it and concentrate on making the thing attack me be not breathing anymore.

Alright, now just double checking, but barbs must be chaotic, and monks must be lawful. That overwhelming assault thing is something I haven't heard of before, but just making sure. =D

Unarmed Damage of a lvl 16 monk

Most of that sounds pretty good, but having a will save of 8 is sort of worrisome. Also, any fullcaster should be able to puncture a spell resistance of 17.

Other than that, this, is how monks SHOULD be.

None the less, in battle you should have other things to think about than a piece of butt. If the class was magical, you might justify something similar as an effect, but really: could you imagine a tough, battle hardened warrior getting distracted by some nude flesh?

It MIGHT be applicable to people of low age categories, but with any kind of battle training, they should easily be able to focus on the fact that the naked guy going for your throat (in a bad way).

I am generally against "natural" charm as a part of combat, because it's just not credible.

Edit: To clarify, I'm against two people with no romantic history behind them using nudity, good looks, lewd behaviour or similar to influence battle. I'm not against relationships having a role; one would, of course, be faced with emotions if it turned out the girl your former girlfriend is now hired to assassinate you. Also, magically influenced charm is of course credible, but I gather that this class is non-magical by nature.

A bit offtopic, but I was wondering recently - what is the IC explanation for Talya's Vow of Nudity? All other Exalted Vows are connected to some virtuous ideal that helps others, such as donating all your wealth to charity instead of using it for yourself, or never taking a life. But what's virtuous about nudity?

I'm pretty sure it was mostly a joke, but Sune, a CG deity (I think the Vow was made for a worshipper of Sune, too) is big on beauty. Truth is beauty, beauty is truth - all that. And Sune's not about some specific standard of beauty, but the idea that everyone can be beautiful, and that only Evil is truly ugly. That's getting there. So, showing off your natural beauty (whether you're comely or plain) is a virtuous thing...

And so on. It's easy enough to come up with credos that would back the Vow up.

I think a "WTF" based will save, with a very low DC, would be appropriate. Not many people are expecting to get jumped by a naked chick, and that's going to influence combat, priapistic difficulties notwithstanding.

Well, yeah, if it's an actual supernatural nymph effect (didn't they have to get nude to blind you in AD&D?), I can dig that. In fact, that's practically a trope, and doesn't require nudity at all; the divinely beautiful person who can "flame on" hir "true beauty" and dazzle everybody.

You've infiltrated the evil king's court, and make your way toward the throne. The vizier spots you, and the guards converge on you through the crowd. You stand straight, cast off your cloak, and reveal yourself to everyone - the guards drop their weapons, and the courtiers fall on your knees, tears in their eyes. The evil king himself presses a hand to his trembling heart, feeling ashamed of what he has done...

It passes the "this is mythically awesome" test.

Step three, I cast off my cloak exposing my nakedness. In the distraction I sneak attack the King!"
