Wild ears are tiny critters that look like humanoid ears scampering about on tiny legs. Males appear as left ears, females as right ears. Many variety of Wild Ear exist - in the southern forest the Round-Tipped Wild Ear thrives, while in the dark shrouded forests to the east the Ancient Pointy Ear carves out an existence, while in the northern wastelands the Green Deformed Uglyear lives. Wild Ears are often seen in the company of humanoid rangers as animal companions.

Any fluff, physical descriptions or flavour text?
And is a +25 to listen a bit much, even if what you got here is a walking pair of ears. Its a 1/6 CR.

Wonder what a Dire Ear's stats would look like ;)

Not to mention the were-ear, and of course the dreaded Owlear. ;D

I am curious if these would make decent familiars as well. One could plant the ear someplace and then use a telepathic bond to garner information.

Now, now. You mustn't let your anger get the better of you. It's wrong to take out your aggressions on this poor guy. Sure, he annoyed you, but he has feelings. He has hopes and dreams. Soylentplaid is people too.

I'm thinking of the pranks.

Then there's the Fey Satear, the evil outsider race the Tanar'ear, their good-aligned rivals the earchons, and the earmentals of the quasi-elemental Plane of Sound. ;D
