Description
Razorspines look like armored humanoid beasts that have sharp blades protruding from their arms and backs. Though they appear bulky, they are actually quite agile and are very quick. Their fingers end in sharp claws, and their fangs are sharp as well. As they mature, their pupils fade until their eyes are purely white. The blades at their arms and backs also grow both in size and in number. They have meaty tails that are also covered in quills. Their powerful legs are reversed, allowing for farther jumps and quicker running.

A typical adult razorspine is about six feet tall and can weigh more than 200 pounds.

Personality
Razorspines are very hasty and quick to act, usually doing things some people might want to plan about right away. They prefer not to talk and just charge in whenever possible. Because of their great physical prowess, they can do just that. In most situations, they are also savage and will always attack whenever provoked, except if it knows that it is either clearly outnumbered or if the enemy is much larger than it is.

Seems pretty badass for a CR 3. I like it, it puts up a good fight, is brutal in melee (though not especially good at grappling), but isn't too hard to kill, either. Plus it's got a unique description and memorable special attacks.

You mention its powerful, quilled tail, but it doesn't appear on the thing's stat block. How about a quill-launching special attack, to give the thing some ranged power, too? Or you could just replace its bite natural attack with a tail one, and compensate for its poor secondary attack modifier by giving it reach, to hold people at bay. After all, it doesn't have to bite its enemies to death in battle, just tear them apart, impale them, and club them with its vicious quilled tail before dragging them off to its lair and devouring the carcass.

Hey, what does (PEACH) mean, anyway?

That would actually be a pretty good idea.

And Freek, which monster is like this in MM2?
