could xykon die, and become property of the guys who gave V the splice, and have V get another splice that includes Xykon to defeat an Uber charged Red Cloak.

I find it unlikely that
1) Xykon is going to die
2) That the fiends will want V to kill redcloak to the point of giving him a second deal (which they don't need for themselves)
3) That redcloak will be ubercharged
